easy to use and hard as a rock
Bought to repair an electric outlet box that a corner chipped off from a stray rock under mower. Much easier and quicker to use the steel stick and it was economical too. Great product and time saver. I also used to repair a leg on a patio chair instead of throwing it out. Repair was amazing. Super sturdy and dries very fast and very hard.

Excellent product, mixed easily, dried quickly and machined well
Another save the day moment brought to you by J-B Weld. This product mixes easily and goes on with great control over where you put it. Roughed up the steel surface with a file and it stuck on there really well. Used it to create a tighter fit for a seat mount that had wallered out where the stem fit in. It was fully dried in an hour and I was able to ream it out to fit the taper of the stem using a Dremel bit. Worked perfectly and seems like it will last. Excellent product.

Need a cold weld. This is it
Wow. This stuff works GREAT. VERY EASY TO USE. JUST FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS. I REPAIRED A METAL OUTDOOR LAWN ORNAMENT. IT'S BEEN A COUPLE OF MONTHS AND IT'S HELD UP WELL. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

When they say it sets quickly, they mean it!
I have really come to love this epoxy putty. I’ve ordered it multiple times and it’s nearly always served its purpose pretty well. My only issue is how fast it sets. They’re not kidding when they say that it sets in five minutes and cursing an hour. So you really have to be prepared for exactly how you’re going to use it and you have to use it quickly or else it hardens up and becomes unusable completely. I do wish this had a slightly longer cure time just because there’s not a lot in the tube, so any that cures and is unusable is kind of a big loss. And, if you’re working on a project that is visible and isn’t going to be covered with something, it’s hard to make it look nice in the time you have before it starts to set. But, how many companies can say that their product sets in five minutes and actually mean it? So kudos on being honest and living up to your promises!

Strong hold,easy to use!!
A screw fell out of our chair (a chair that had to be assembled by us when we received it, but one of the four screws did not fit right into the threaded hole and over time it loosened and just “fell out”). I looked for the best epoxy that would hold the metal screw, that would not rely on the threaded part. I settled on JB WELD since I’ve used it in the past for other projects, to good success. When received, I put on rubber gloves, kneaded the epoxy putty eonuogh, rolled it to make a rope-like plug, put it into the hole and pushed the screw in. Then rolled a longer rope-like piece with the remaining piece and wrapped it around the screw nut I pushed in (see photo). Let it dry overnight and tested it. It held, no problems. The strength of the epoxy appears and feels like it will last a log time…so I’d say it was successful!!! I am getting JB WELD from now on,for it’s strength, hold, ease of use and reasonable price. 👍👍👍👍👍

Great when duct tape and glue won't work.
Very strong and sticks well. I used some to make hooks for my outdoor concrete wall, and attached a light net to it to keep hawks and owls away from my cats. (I saw hawks watching them and got freaked out.) We live in an apartment where we can't drill holes into the concrete in order to hang things. This epoxy putty was perfect. I molded the hooks with a 180 degree curve so the net can't slip off in the wind. They dried in just a few hours. I wouldn't hang anything heavy from my hommade hooks, and I wouldn't trust the net I hung to stand up to pressure, or cat-escapes, but I just needed the hooks to stay in place through wind-storms and rain. We live on the third floor so I'm not worried about kitty-escape-artistry. If a bird-of-pray does try to attack them my thin net will tangle it up long enough for the cats to run away. So far, I guess the hawks saw the net because they are no longer starring at my balcony like a restaurant-menu (although I still hear them all the time. I hear great horned owls too.) I also used a good amount of this putty to wrap around a power cube outlet (indoor.) The conuit is split at the joint, exposing the wires inside (which still have their individual wraps in tact.) Tape won't hold it together in this case, because the cable moves too much. I wrapped the putty along the cable, over the break, and then molded fingers to extend around the cube. It works well, and the wires are protected again. $$ saved!

Exceeded expectations and saved me from and expensive repair
This stuff it strong, be ready to apply when you mix it because it sets up quick. I used to to repair a damaged clutch pedal assembly in a 1994 ford ranger and it has been holding up just fine. The bushing had disintegrated from the pedal assembly and the clutch pedal pivot wore the hole out in the pedal bracket. From what I could find online there are no new aftermarket or oem pedal assemblies available only used assemblies for around $200 that could potentially have the same issue. I thought about removing the assembly to weld it up but removal required dash removal. That's when I thought of jb weld, I watched project farms test video and decided it might actually work and so far its been working great for 3 months and a few thousand miles. In the picture you can see the hole with a new bushing installed and just how much wear had taken place.

Just fair...
Applied this to a broken fence latch bar. Worked for awhile, then broke off with little pressure when the gate closed. Better as a filler, NOT as a "weld" type product.

Worth very penny/cent
We had a radiator leak from top and when we took it off the wall, we saw it was leaking from bottom. received this and applied to the top and botom and works absolutely well. and it heats the same level. This product can easily be used for products reaching as high as 150 degree heat. Very impressive loved it.

Super

Sealed a small leak on my petrol tank
Well written instructions that is easy to follow. Easy to apply. After about 6 weeks, I do not detect any evidence of any more leaks. Looks like it has worked well.

Strong, Easy to Shape, and Ideal for Repairs
I've used various liquid metal and epoxy repair products over the years, but this SteelStik is one of the easiest to work with. Being a putty rather than a liquid, it's much simpler to mould, shape, and press into place, especially when repairing awkward shapes or filling gaps. Once mixed, it has a good working time and can be formed exactly where it's needed without running or dripping. After curing, it becomes extremely hard and feels very strong and durable. I've used it for automotive repairs and general workshop jobs where a strong metal-like repair was needed, and it's performed very well. It's particularly useful when you need to rebuild small areas, fill damaged sections, or make repairs that would be difficult with traditional liquid metal products. Overall, a versatile and very strong epoxy putty that's easier to use than liquid alternatives while still providing an excellent repair. Highly recommended
