Excellent Product
While I have shown a broken blade in the picture, I admit that my gardener was trying to cut a branch of a bush over the max recommended size! This is not a product fault but a wrong usage issue. On the whole, this is a very sturdy heavy duty item, well built and cuts perfectly and quite smoothly. The most important point is that on approaching the manufacturer, FALCON Garden Tools, for a replacement, the response was immediate. The cost of the replacement blade is marginal and is being couriered. I am most impressed with this quick response to my request. Not many companies would respond in this manner! I have many gardening tools over the years from this company and am most satisfied. Hence, a repeated customer. For your gardening tool needs, I would unhesitatingly recommend Falcon products.

Good product for gardening but not ideal for rose pruning.
Very good product.Fulfills the purpose mentioned.It is definitely value for money.If you are looking for a rose pruner then I will not suggest this secateur as this one is the anvil type and it can be used to clear dead plants or unwanted branches etc and thus not the right tool for rose pruning as we want no damage to the stem.I would suggest a bypass secateur which has slightly curved blades for exclusive rose pruning.Overall this product is really good for gardening purpose.
