We roast and ship on a weekly or bi weekly basis to provide the freshest coffee possible. Usually there is a few week turn around, but we have a best buy date of six months so that coffee doesn't sit around for too long before it reaches the consumer.

Q: How does this differ from the Death Wish with the skull on the package?

Their original death wish is what you drink before charging into the battlefield, crazed eyes and a grin as blood splatters your face. Valhalla Java is what you drink with Thor in paradise after a glorious death

Q: For those who have it, how many tbsp of beans do you find the best ratio for making a full 12 cup pot?

It's one Tablespoon per cup or 3/4 cup for a 12 cup pot of coffee. I don't recommend less as it will make your coffee sour. You can go as much as 2 tablespoons per cup but your probably going to forget your car when you go to work.
