Good quality chafing dishes, nice look to them
This is a pretty nice set of chafing dishes at the price point ($89 for a 2-pack). I manage a catering company so am used to higher-quality chafers that are built to last through lots of wear and tear, but these are great for personal events - and certainly lighter than my work pans. I like the clear lids, which makes it easy to see the food even when closed. That's a nice touch and something we'd like for our business, actually. I do wish they came with some kind of holder for the lids, which you usually see with round chafers. Our rectangles at work are roll-top, so we don't have storage issues, but I'd like a place to put the lids when people are serving themselves, so the lids aren't taking up additional space. Although the pans themselves are on the cheap/thin sides, the water pans are a thicker metal and do a good job or holding heat. The water will stay hot for at least 20 minutes after the fuels burn out or are snuffed. Speaking of fuel, I appreciate that these come with 4 fuel collars with snuffers. It's always a classier appearance than having the fuel labels showing. The chafers are easy to assemble, but in my experience, these types of screws very easily come undone. I recommend using Lok-Tite when assembling, as I did. If put together well, they are sturdy enough for most use - I just wouldn't want to be transporting these in a van over and over again with a bunch of other equipment. I wish the gold accents were more "gold" in color than "dark brass," but that's not a huge deal, more of a persona preference. Overall I do recommend these, but cannot give them 5 stars due to the lack of a way to manage the lids along with the lightweight food pans.

Versatile and Great for Entertaining
I really like these chafing dishes for entertaining. They make a buffet setup look much more polished and put-together, and the gold finish adds a nice touch without being too flashy. The design looks more elevated than the basic stainless steel food warmers I have seen. They have decent stability and are sturdy. Price is ok for it. I especially like the versatility of having one full-size pan and two half-size pans. It makes it easy to serve a main dish along with different sides, or use the smaller pans for desserts, appetizers, or different foods when hosting. The glass lids are also a nice upgrade because you can see what is inside without constantly opening the dishes. Overall, they look good, feel practical, and would be useful for family gatherings, parties, holidays, or even setting up a small dessert or buffet table.
