Neither of the 2 switches functioned correctly. Both measured open instead of closed. Returned and purchased a much better quality switch.

Normally Open (NO) switches packaged with the wrong label
I received NO thermo switches that were supposed to be Normally Closed (NC). The package label says Normally Closed but when tested with an ohm meter they read open from looking at pictures of all these Thermo switches I don't see an difference between those sold as NC and NO (the model number is the same)

Product is misrepresented on AMAZON
This product headline stated this was a "NORMALLY CLOSED" thermal switch. When in fact, it is a "NORMALLY OPEN" thermal switch. Yes, not a huge expense, just a pain in the butt that AMAZON and this manufacturer misrepresented the product. Maybe AMAZON and this manufacturer would send me the proper switch - NORMALLY CLOSED.

Defective, will not work.
Both thermostats are defective. They will not activate coils on electric smoker. When checked with a continuity tester they are an open circuit.

Misrepresentation of normally closed switches.
Switches are open not normally closed. Bypassed the switch and smoker burner came on.
