Masoll TPMS Sensor for GM Chevy Silverado Buick Cadillac GMC, DIY Install | Dual 315/433MHz, Gen 2 TPMS Sensors Set of 4, TPMS Relearn Tool Included, External Tire Pressure Sensor

Bought these to use on a our dump trailer for work with a 2025 GMC Sierra 2500 AT4. Super easy to set up with the menu in the dash and the included tool. These were the perfect option as they're: 1. Much cheaper (or at least on par) with internal TPMS sensors 2. I can easily swap them out when I put on a spare and not have to mess with re-learning positions 3. I don't need a 5th sensor for the spare tire 4. I can keep track of trailer tire pressure from the dash of the truck. Due to the type of work we do and the environments the truck and trailer are often in (construction demolition, urban alleyways/construction sites/landfills) I am CONSTANTLY picking up debris in my tires, despite my best efforts and getting flat tires. This, combined with the amount of weight I'm carrying in the trailer and the speeds I'm sometimes traveling at on the interstates to haul the debris away or just traveling to/ from the jobsite I feel like the price of investment for a set of these is what we would call in simple terms "a no-brainer." The only reluctance I had prior to purchase were the unknowns: 1. Would they work with my truck? (2025 GMC Sierra is not listed in the description) 2. How much of a PITA would these actually be to set up? (No way to really know ahead of time. Seller descriptions and even reviews can often be misleading and full of BS) 3. How reliable or durable would they be? (If 1 and 2 worked out, would they actually stay connected or would they fall apart or would the batteries die in a couple weeks?) After using them I can confirm they worked with my truck, set up was incredibly easy, and they are impressively reliable. As of now, perhaps the only con I've encountered is a drawback of their design and kind of impossible to avoid with the way these types of sensors are made. While navigating the truck and trailer through a tight space, I got too close to a wall a broke one of the sensors off one of the valve stems. My other, perhaps larger gripe with this though is the fact that Masoll does not make purchasing a single replacement sensor a straightforward process. They have two product listings for single, replacement sensors but they do not do a good job of making it clear which set they go with. I have already purchased one, which was not compatible, but will not purchase the other until I can get confirmation from the seller. I would prefer to NOT have to buy another full set just for a single sensor. The sensor getting damaged is not a fault of the seller, nor is it likely something must buyers are likely to encounter during regular usage. The inadequate descriptions, however, that fail to plainly spell out which sensors work together does fall squarely on the seller. I would actually like to use the other products the seller offers to outfit our other trailers with and older trucks with TPMS systems that would allow the 2025 truck to connect the TPMS on those trailers as well as the older trucks to use the standalone units and connect to the existing TPMS sensors. But again, descriptions given don't really give any indication as to what will work with what. so I'm stuck, preventing me from potentially spending several hundred dollars to outfit our fleet with TPMS sensors that could potentially all be a fairly plug and play, modular and swappable system.

I just received this, so if I experience anything that detracts from the rating in the next few months, I'll update this review. But let's get into it for now... I recently bought a new (to me) truck. I'm the sort that wants my vehicles to be indicator light free if possible. If the Check Engine light is one, you can be sure I've pulled the codes and it's not a simple and/or cheap fix. My new truck had an Airbag light on and the TPMS light. OBD II scanner plugged in, airbag code pulled, checked wiring, erased the code, and one light taken care of. TPMS programmer purchased, truck put into program mode, and no response. No problem, I tried the air trick (let air out for about 10-15 seconds), and no response. I figured the sensors themselves need to be replaced. The problem is, it's hot, and I really don't want to break tire beads, install new sensors, and hope my small compressors or inflators have the air flow to reseat the beads. I want even less to pay someone else a lot of money to install new sensors. So, I found these. The price is great, I've got another programmer (the first only set be back $15, and it works for Fords as well), and they screw right onto the valve stem. Others have commented about their size; personally, I don't really look for valve stems unless I'm checking air pressure. These save me from that routine, though I'll be sure to manually check the pressure at least monthly. Replacing the caps is as easy as one might suppose: unscrew the old caps (if those are even present) and screw the Masoll sensors on. To make things clear, these can replace the in-tire sensors, and they function in a similar fashion, but you might get some programming issues if your original sensors are still transmitting. It took me under two minutes to install and program the sensors. The truck itself provides guidance and feedback (a marker light is illuminated to indicate which sensor to program, and the horn beeps once the programming is complete). My truck is a 2010 GMC Sierra, so this tells me that these sensors are at least compatible with GMT-900 models, and very likely compatible with whatever else the description states. These things definitely stand out from normal valve stem caps. They'll fit any vehicle out there but only sync to GMs. While they are somewhat large and might be susceptible to damage if you hit curbs or go off-roading, I see no reason to believe they won't hold up to normal use. If you're like me and using these as a budget-friendly alternative to regular TPMS sensors, with plans to replace them when new tires are installed, the sensors will probably outlast the vehicle itself. I had to use all four and am keeping the box as I plan to remove them before my next set of tires. I'll keep these as backups to be used as needed in the future, though they'll probably get at least six months of use for now. Speaking of tire replacement, perhaps the biggest downside I can see is the potential for thieves to make off with the sensors. I don't think there's a big demand for TPMS sensors out there, but I can see someone deciding to remove them from someone else's vehicle to save themselves a little money. What can I say? It's a sad world we live in. Further, I'd recommend removing them before any tire work is done. A tire tech might not know what they are or just think they're throwaway items. Even if you get OE-style sensors installed, you still paid for these (and as I stated above, can keep these as backups as needed).

The instructions were wrong. It didn't take me 10 minutes. It took 5! 2017 Sierra lost 2 internal TPMS 2 months ago and lost the other 2 a week ago. Within 5 mins, the truck recognized these transmitters and PERFECT. When I have to replace the tires, I may replace the internal units at the same time. In the meantime MONEY WELL SPENT!

Easy setup in under 5 minutes. Instructions were clear and accurate. Much cheaper than replacing at an auto shop.

To a while to get the courage to set up, but once I did, it honestly took me (52 years woman) 5 minutes. I was able to figure out relearning the old sensors with the 2 new sensors, and everything works perfectly. Seamless! I highly recommend if you want to get rid of that pesky warning light, and know your tire pressure in real time. A++

I’m really happy with these tire sensors. They installed in about 5 minutes, and they worked right away. The warning light is off now, and I can easily see my tire pressure, which is exactly what I wanted. Adjustability: I didn’t really need to adjust anything, but they fit and function well once installed. Instructions: The instructions were easy enough to follow, and the setup was straightforward. Ease of use: Very easy to install and use. I had no issues getting them working. Functionality: They do exactly what they’re supposed to do and solved the problem quickly. Programming: I didn’t have any trouble with programming, and they were ready to go fast. Accuracy: So far, the pressure readings seem accurate and reliable. The only downside is that they’re a little bigger than I expected, but that’s not a dealbreaker for me. I do worry a little about them being stolen, but overall I’m very pleased with the purchase.

Took me all of 2 minutes to install and relearn the sensors on my daughter's 2016 checy cruze, worth it 100% and way more affordable than having them done at the tire shop. All the parts were in the box unlike another brand I bought.

I love this thing. I put them on 2017 Chevy Volt, and used the provided tool to sync them to Chevrolet's on-board system, and now it report the tire pressure to the car. I had one of those super cheap TPMS kit for my old VW, and the sensor caps lost all kinds of air from the tire before you could get them screwed on. These ones start to thread on before hitting the valve, and you lose very little air. It's all around a great kit.
