Beautiful, but tough color match!
First of all, let me start off by saying this is a beautiful product. I returned this due to the coloring. Its my opinion that BM has wayyyyy too many color options. Now, this might be a good thing if you are like me and fall into a light-medium/neutral leaning cool category because you will have to mix colors. The fairly medium loose powder is a decent match, but leans slightly too light. I figured the light beige would do the trick, but it comes off too orangry/dark for my skin. I definitely do better with their "medium" pinky undertone products once everything melts into the skin. However, the medium 10 is too dark. I think if I mixed some fairly medium, light beige, and medium 10 into a pot, I would achieve the perfect color for me. I may try this with the loose minerals. Also, I do prefer the loose mineral finish versus the compact, but the compact is definitely a much quicker application. I do have their brush for this, but if you cant afford it, Elf makes some really nice, dense brushes for a fraction of the cost. I would definitely try this if you are into mineral makeup or open to trying it. I set with some Fix + to help melt everything into the skin. :-)

Medium coverage, can show dry spots.
I used bare minerals years ago, and loved it. I am not sure why I switched so long ago to a standard liquid foundation but I did wear a lot of make up back then( 15+yrs ago) but now that I don’t wear as much make up and have simplified my skin care/make up routine I have been looking for clean make up to just balance my skin tone. I’m 43 and not all make up looks good on my skin anymore. This looks good as long as my skin is freshly cleaned and moisturized, but can exaggerate dry spots if not properly hydrated. I will definitely keep using it but will continue the forever long search of a light make up for more mature skin that doesn’t make my skin look dry. I work from home and just like to feel put together if I run to the store or when my husband gets home. The medium coverage works for me, I do have fairly clear skin just a few red spots from broken blood vessels and it blurs that just fine.

Great product!
I previously used Laura Geller's products. Recently I tried bare minerals powder foundation and I love it. It goes on smoothly and the color is perfect!

Perfect pressed powder
This is the BEST pressed powder BareMinerals has. But they keep changing the formula of their pressed powders. It's so frustrating. I hope they keep this one. It has more coverage than BarePro, which is surprising as the coverage on this is rated lower. I have sensitive skin, rosacea and pores. It covers redness wonderfully and also doesn't make my pores look worse. The models are maintained so I picked the same model that was used for my BarePro shade and it's a perfect match. Update: this product developed "hardpan"/"glazing" but only in the middle of the pan. I do apply the brush to the outer perimeter as well. This is the first time I've experienced this.

Broke in to tiny pieces inside the compact in the first week!
I am very frustrated with this purchase bc i really love the product but when it arrived some of the makeup was broken up inside the compact. I didnt like that but not too big of a deal. Then I put it in my purse with all my other makeup and the next day almost half of the makeup was broken in small pieces; by the end of the week every part of it was in crumbles. I tried bare minerals after using clinique for years to see if I liked it better. I loved the coverage and how the color matched but my clinique never crumbled in my purse. I will not buy again
