Bare Decor Vega Golden Teak Wood Outdoor Folding Chair (Set of 2)

These appear to be nice, sturdy chairs. We used them briefly in the house to make sure they would work for us. The back slants a little too much for my preference, but wasn't uncomfortable. My husband was happy with the degree of the slant, so it's just a matter of personal preference. It's rained since they arrived, but they will be treated with teak oil and be outside chairs. If any issues arise (I don't expect any), I will update the review. Very happy so far!UPDATE: We have had these chairs for five years and we are still very happy with them. I love the look and size of these chairs. They are more comfortable and sturdy than I expected for a wooden chair. I thought we might have to sit gently or chance wobbling over but that’s not the case. The only thing I have to get used to is cleaning them up because I keep them outside but that’s the nature or teak wood and worth the look and smaller size I needed for the space.

We were very happy with the quality of these chairs. Very strong, no wobble from side to side whatsoever. We've had compliments on the chairs already.Delivery Stunk ... I've always requested that the drivers ring door bell or knock when leaving packages at front door.The driver for this deliver, not only did not ring bell or knock letting us know he was leaving a package. The driver didn't even walk the 5 steps up to the front door to leave the package. Instead, he delivered the package after DARK and left it in front of our garage door. We had a rain that night and when we discovered the package the next morning, it was soaked. This won't be tolerated too many more times.

These chairs are absolutely gorgeous. Although they may not look it, they are very comfortable. Easy to store as they are foldable. I have not had them outside much, so I cannot say whether they can withstand the elements. Regardless, I am incredibly happy with this purchase. I loved them so much that I bought a second set. Looking for a table to go with them now.

The color of teakwood is a natural property of the wood. Teak should be oiled, not stained. Many Asian manufacturers make furniture from cheaper tropical hardwoods and stain them to look like teak. A look at the small areas where the stain was chipped or never applied confirmed that THEY ARE NOT TEAK, WHICH MAKES THIS A FINANCIAL FRAUD since the value of other tropical hardwoods is i than half that of teak.Tropical hardwoods like eucalyptus can be attractive oiled, and it’s a shame that they stain them. Stains always chip and flake off by the second year while teak will last for decades outdoors with occasional oiling. To make the furniture look good again, the stain needs to be completely removed, usually by sanding, and the wood oiled. The complex shapes in a slatted chair make this a really big job, and these chairs aren’t worth saving.TO THE VENDOR: I’ll be happy to revise my review if YOU SEND ME CHAIRS MADE OF OILED TEAK.

These chairs are fine for what they are - just realize it's an inexpensive product for a reason. Arrived with minor damage - one leg with a big chip at the bottom requiring glue to fix, the other chair with a cosmetic chip on the leg but you'd have to be looking to see it. Not worth the hassle of returning, and will function ok as casual outdoor chairs. As to function, no doubt preferences differ, but these have too much of a recline to the back for our taste. Need a back pillow to get a comfortable sitting angle.

We liked that the chair was comfortable and folded easily inside the boat. We also like the teak wood, which is beautiful. We put a wood wax coating on it as it will be on the boat. We are very happy with these chairs and would buy again. We have only had them 1 month, but all is well.

I ordered 4 of these chairs to add to some I already had (different brand) they came well packaged, two to a box. they arrived in perfect shape. They are a little off color wise, but thats because they are new. Once they 'weather" they will be fine. A great chair for the money.
