HDMI Switch 4x1

I got this HDMI Switch 4x1 for my kids’ room because they have multiple electronics connected to one TV, and I wanted an easier way for them to switch devices without constantly messing with HDMI cables. It works well for keeping their gaming systems, streaming devices, and other HDMI sources connected in one place, which makes the whole setup cleaner and less frustrating. The 4 in/1 out design gives them enough flexibility, and I like that it supports 4K@60Hz, HDMI 2.0, HDCP 2.2, 3D, and 1080P, so it can handle newer devices while still working with older ones. The remote makes switching inputs much easier than reaching behind the TV, and the compact size keeps it from adding more clutter to their room. Overall, this has been a practical upgrade that makes their electronics easier for them to use and easier for me to keep organized.

My Samsung HDTV only had 2 HDMI input jacks and I had 4 devices I needed to connect. So after reading a few reviews, I thought I would give this one a try. My wife very much does NOT like dealing with remotes, especially when multiple remotes may be needed to get something to work. I was a bit nervous. Setup was pretty easy. Soon had all four hooked up; time to see how the switching works! Very easy, just a power button and one for each input. The front has a light for each input, labeled with the number that corresponds with the matching one on the remote. Switching between Blu-Ray, nVidia Shield, laptop, and gaming console is flawless. One thing I really like is that if you power up just one device, the switch senses it "come alive" and routes the signal automagically to the TV. My wife doesn't even have to touch the switches remote. That makes her happy, which makes me happy. Our TV is 4k, but we don't watch a lot of 4k material. What little I have watched, I don't notice any picture degradation. So I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for an HDMI switch.

My tv had only 4 hdmi connections and I needed more at 4K to match tv. It works great though it took time to get it working. I found that after I hooked 4items in it then worked perfectly, then I started removing 2 and now it still functions perfectly. Great picture sound pass thru very good as well. I’m very happy with it

Performed great. TV lost HDMI ports. Used this device to connect to VGA port with audio input from device. It's working great. Sound is not perfect, but good. I paired this with "BERLAT 3.8 out of 5 stars HDMI to VGA Adapter Converter" , with Audio Output.

Not worth the effort to order ! Only worked on 1 channel & wouldn't switch channels even with the remote & the 4k picture was fuzzy ! Threw it in the trash because it aint worth sending back !

I use this for a Nintendo and an Atari game console to share an HDMI input into the TV and it works like a charm.

It lasted 14 months, so that's $1.42/month. Not terrible. Worked fine for about a year then started having output issues on one of the USB connections -- the computer stopped seeing the keyboard, mouse etc. Then video began to get flaky, again, just one of the of the connections, the computer lost sight of the monitor. Not the same computer as with the USB, a different one. So now two of the four connections are flaky. Time for a new, different, switch.

Works great. Love that it automatically selects the source that is on. I have this to split two game consoles. Whichever device is turned on automatically becomes the selected source on this splitter. No need to look for the remote or push buttons on the unit.
