1. Definitely easy to use 2. Great value- it comes with tons of pieces and different ways to use them. If you go to the hungrycutters website there are printables and other ways to use this toy. Hungrycutters IG account is also great for inspo! 3. I love using this toy during my sessions to have kids work on a number of skills- such as pincer grasp, strengthening, graded pressure, visual perceptual skills and creativity. If you get really creative with it you can also work on cutting! It’s a great set, kids love it, easy storage and you will love it too! It’s also great to give as a gift or bring with you to homecare sessions. As a gift I think it’s a great toy for kids to have in their collection because it helps so much with Fine motor development. BUY IT!

The media could not be loaded.  This toy is AMAZING, and here’s why:1) it’s good for hand eye coordination it makes my toddler very focused.2) it helps Strengthening their hand muscles and we all know that this is very important for them.3) it great for being creative and expand their imagination.4) it’s a toy with a 1000 purpose, my 2 year old use it for color sorting and putting the pegs in the holes.Here’s a video of my daughter after a month of having this toy, no words are needed to describe how strong and focused her hands got.

When we first received this drill toy, I thought my daughter would play once or twice with it and then put it down in about 3-4 days like all her other toys. After about 7 days, she continued to want to come home and play with it and complete the different designs, she then began making her own. Yay!! There were a lot of great examples on the box. But I noticed that she began making her own, sometimes for hours. I decided to see where this went, so I gave it a solid month before I wrote a review. So far she absolutely loves it. We also noticed her finger dexterity, her concentration and focus increase with this toy.. 30 Days later, she’s still using it 2-3 times a week. An excellent toy and worth way more than the price.. I bought the Pegcasso Build & Drill for my pre-k classroom. Couldn't wait for the kids to try it out. Used it during summer camp and let just the 4s use it. After initially showing them how to hold the drill, they were able to drill the pegs into the bear. I loved that they had to push the reverse button to get the peg back out.What sold me on the this toy was the company. On their website, they have additional pictures that can be printed out. I see they are working on adding letters! I believe this will be extremely useful in our classroom. So many ways to use this simple toy. Kids are working those fine motor skills. I can highly recommend it. So are it's held up to several 4 year olds using.

Love this toy! So many designs and tools to play with. My 4.5 years old loves it and even my 2 year old can put together some of the pictures. I give it 4 out of 5 stars only for not including a detailed booklet with bigger photos of different designs. It's an 8x11 page with ton of ideas and designs. So tiny to see how they're made. We're trying to assemble the standup robot and can't see which tools were used. I guess we'll have to figure it out ourselves but wish the photo was bigger so my 4.5 year old or even myself could build it faster. Also the drill with batteries is a great idea but the real screw for the battery slot is stripped (the plastic is stuck on the screw). So there's some quality issues too.

I purchased the Pegcasso Build & Drill for my 5 year old son who needs extra help with his fine motor skills due to muscle weakness in his hands. In the past it has been difficult to get him to really engage with toys for this purpose but he has been playing with his Build & Drill non stop since we received it last week! There are endless ways to play and he never seems to get bored. He loves the "big boy" drill and is learning to build 3D structures. It also comes in a really convenient case to keep all of the pieces together. I would highly recommend this product not only for kids who need it for OT but for any kid who loves to create!

This product is FANTASTIC! I am a school-based OT and my students and I love this toy!! It works on so many developmental skills and can be upgraded or downgraded to meet all of my students level of need. The drill is quiet and all the pieces in this kit can be easily and constantly cleaned to uphold COVID cleaning protocols. Everything fits in its plastic case for easy on the go storage. I bought this product to help my ASD son who has weak fine motor strength and coordination. At first he was overwhelmed with the product because it contains so many pieces and images to trace. Once I sat down with him to guide him through what to do with it he absolutely loved it and sat there focused for an hour playing with the pieces all on his own. He didn't really know how to use the different shapes to make pictures yet but he enjoyed playing with the drill and screw driver to put the screws and pegs onto the board. He also loved stretching the elastic rubber bands around the screws.He only stopped playing when his fingers got a good workout from handling all the small pieces. All the small pieces and image stencils can fit inside the box, however, the drill and screwdrivers pieces do not have a dedicated box apart from the original plastic tray that they came in which is not convenient for storage. I just found another small box to put them in instead. The battery operated drill was fun for my son, however, it needs a "reverse" option to unscrew the pieces. Since it only spins one way to tighten the pieces, he had to manually use the non-battery screwdriver to undo all the screw pieces.Overall I'm happy with this item. Provide a bag/box to store the drill and screwdriver pieces, and provide a reverse option on the drill and this will easily get a 5 star rating.
