It dissolves rapidly, tastes great and the pot can be kept after emptying it. What else could I ask?

I don't drink enough milk, and I got tired of wasting it all the time and having to go get more to waste. So, I decided to try my trusty Hoosier Farms' solution, and, wow, I'm a whole lot more impressed than I could've hoped to be!I remember growing up fighting with powdered milk to dissolve, and this DISSOLVES ON CONTACT with water. Amazing! Just a little stirring with a spoon was all I needed, and voilà! It would be nice if the instructions included a smaller mix option, but a little trial and error = pretty great milk! With ease!For best results, definitely chill your newly made milk before use. Or just make with a few ice cubes, depending on your purposes.

I use America's Test Kitchen recipes for gluten free bread - the recipes require powdered milk. I had been using Carnation that I bought at my local grocery. I decided to try this brand because it got high ratings. The powder has some pretty large chunks, 2-3mm in diameter. The large chunks does not blend well with the flour when I make bread. I have been grinding down the large chunks using a mortar/pedstle. I will be switching back to Carnation for my baking.

AS RATED DOES ALL THE RIGHT THINGS BUT THE TASTE IS QUITE GOOD. PRICEWISE THESE DRY MILK POWDERS AREWITHING THE CURRENT PRICE RANGE OF MILKS IN THE SUPERMARKETS. GOOD TO USE FOR EXTRA NUTRITION INBAKING AND WHEN MILK GETS LOW WHEN YOU CAN'T GET TO THE STORE. THIS IS INSTANT AS OPPOSED TO THECARNATION MILK WHICH HAS A HEAVIER TEXTURE. I FOUND FOLLOWING THE INSTRUCTIONS AND SERVING THE NEXT DAY, THE FLAVOR IS VERY GOOD. WILL BUY AGAIN AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND. CONTAINER GOOD TO RECYCLE FOR COOKIES, FLOURS, SUGAR OR OTHER.

I am using this dry milk product to make homemade bread. Admittedly, it's difficult to recommend this product based on taste since there are a few ingredients involved in my bread recipe, however, I can say that my bread comes out delicious every time, so freshness and quality must be on point. Packaging is reliable and convenient to access. Delivery was on time and the price is competitive. I recommend it.

They must have gotten the message from those that complained of shellfish in the milk (why would they ever do that?) because the pound of non-fat I purchased in May 2019 has only milk and vits A & D in the ingredients. I usually use it in mixes but once mixed some up and took a taste. I'm not sure I could distinguish it from bottled milk.

This product is GREAT! I like to drink tea with milk. It's very difficult to carry milk around with you, and so I thought I would try this product. Since the instructions say "add to hot water", I thought I would try just stirring it into the tea. It works perfectly! It gives the taste of milk, and has not artificial or manufactured flavor/aftertaste like other shelf-stable milk products. I am going to keep some at work, in my travel bag, and take it camping.

A year ago for Christmas I got a bread machine, along with an amazing cookbook, and many of the recipes call for instant nonfat milk. It was hard for me to find in grocery stores, but I saw on Amazon that Hoosier Hill has many of the dried products my recipes call for, so I went a little nuts. This product is easy to store, a great size, and works very well. The first recipe I used it in came out AMAZING. I will definitely rely on Hoosier Hill for all of my dried goods needs!

Very happy with purchase. I would definately compare this to the milk I usually purchase....will buy againUpdate: I have been very please with this powder milik.....the taste is very pleasing and I like who it completly dissolves. I liked product have now ordered the whole milk for my partner to try. I also purchased the powdered butter and excited to see how it turns out on cooking and popcorn etc. I am thinking about purchasing the powder parmasan and cheddar cheese down the road. Can't praise this product enough....will see how the other items turn out. Great purchase.

This product is even better than expected, wished I had purchased it sooner. I use it for my tea, I wisk the milk powder in a little boiling water and then add the rest of the water and the tea. It tastes really creamy and I will be purchasing more. Also, I would like to try the powdered white cheese as well. Thanks for your yummy milk powder.

Dissolves instantly in coffee and tastes just like real milk.I was tired of bringing in milk for my coffee at the office.This stuff is amazing. It dissolves instantly. No clumping, no stirring needed. None of the gross ingredients like coffee whitener. Exactly was I was looking for!

I got this just for my office use and tbh it taste more like coffee mate. I didn't notice any flavor like milk.So it depends on what you wanna use it.

Used this in my hot chocolate mixes in ornaments and u don’t need a lot of this at all very rich.
