I’ve been using this vest with two 5.75 lbs weights for many years and have found great results.Small pocket in front for phone and keys is essential. Siding flexible but can hold an attachable water bottle for runs.Velcro fun for whatever patches suits you.

I love this vest...I use the vest for my 3 hr walks.. no chafing . The craftsmanship is well made.. I've done my homework.. i use 30 lbs weights and not safe for running with that much weight.. bounce too much..I was 205 5.7" for Reference slightly too big even with the adjustments. But still works just fine. One thing I forgot to mention with that. Much weight in the vest. You need to make sure that you're not rounding. Your shoulders are hunching or leaning forward with your neck that can cause serious injuries. And as you get tired, you tend to try to punch your back. You always have to roll your shoulders back to be straight. That's just because on how much weight is in the vest, but it is very evenly distributed with that amount of weight..

It’s just a plate carrier and does NOT include plates. I’ve bought plate carriers that are the same material for a fraction of the price that I paid for this one. I have a “real” plate carrier made of real material for about the same price I paid for this one. It is made well enough to carry plates. But the quality is pretty cheap. I also really dislike the adjustability of the shoulder straps.
