I love this massager! I purchased one for myself and then a second one for my husband! It’s great to decrease tension in the low back muscles. It works great to place it against the back rest of my couch or recliner and I lean back on it. I generally sit on a folded blanket to target my lower lumbar and sacral area (lower part of the low back) , then remove it to target the lumbar spine (general low back area). The heat feature is great too. I usually make sure I use my shirt or a small towel as an extra barrier if I use it for a few cycles as it gets pretty warm, but it works great. I like it so much I will probably buy a few as gifts for Christmas this year!Edit: I have purchased 2 of these massagers as gifts with great response! I have been a physical therapist for over 15 years and I specialize in treating chronic pain, low back and neck pain, pelvic pain, and headaches. This is a WONDERFUL tool for my patients to use to help manage their symptoms. I have recommended it countless times for my patients and actually got one to keep in my clinic to allow them to try it. Having a tool that can help decrease muscle pain is a great way to help my patients be able to tolerate the exercises that will help them move better which is where the healing process starts. The Zyllion customer service reps are always quick to respond to any questions I’ve had about their products. I’ve had this unit for my personal use for over 2 years and it is still going strong! I highly recommend this product!!

This product has helped me so much. After much use, I did have one of the nodes break and their customer service supplying a replacement is unprecedented. They quickly and empathetically resolved the concern and I had the replacement part within 4 days, all while keeping in contact with me through the process - AMAZING customer service!

I read the reviews and for the price (not high) thought I would give this a try. WELL WORTH the money. I would be surprised if ANYONE would not like this product. A nice alternative to a full chair back massage unit (and more discreet for use at work, etc.) I was skeptical, but I have to say that this thing feels great (possibly a little rough depending on how much pressure you put on it, but it doesn't bother me). I used it right out of the box for about an hour, working lower back then moving it up every 5-10 minutes, then down and up again. I used it upright (power button on top) for lower back, then flipped it over for higher on the back. As the top and bottom rotating balls are not the same, I have to flip it over for my upper back for comfort. My back was totally unlocked after use -- NEVER felt better. In short, you can't go wrong with this unit. My ONLY critiques are the following. 1. The connection between the unit and the chord is not super tight, so I've disconnected it a couple of times. Not a huge issue. 2. The power button is not in the best location. When you use it upright (power button on top) - no issues. However, when you flip it over (power button on the bottom), which you may have to do for comfort and depending on how your back curves, the power button may (it does for me) press into your chair and power the unit off. It's pretty annoying and the only reason this did not get 5 stars. The power button should be on the side where it won't get pressed by your chair, or better yet on the chord itself. Having the power on the chord also would be better to make it easier to shut off (like if someone comes in your office while you're using it), as opposed to having to fumble around behind your back.

My lower back likes to stiffen up and hurt if it doesn't receive some kind of a massage on a regular basis.We were thinking of buying a full-sized massage chair. I used to work in a building with free massage chairs. I miss them. After some research, I discovered that not only are the good massage chairs very expensive, but they also like to break down and require maintenance.Enter, this nifty little back massager. Yes, it doesn't operate in the same league as a full-on massage chair. It's a bit more tedious to use. It doesn't crack my back the way an excellent massage chair does. But it is also only a small fraction of the price. For what it costs, it packs quite a punch.When I first started playing around with the Zyllion back massager, I had to experiment with how much of my body weight I can put on it. If you put too much weight on it, it overheats more quickly. But oh, when I am lying on my back and it hits the right spots on my shoulders or on my lower back... I'm in heaven. And sometimes in a bit of pain - in a good way.One thing this little massager can do that a massage chair can't: reaching all sorts of weird angles. A full-sized massage chair has relatively fixed mechanics. In contrast, the Zyllion Shiatsu Back massager can be placed anywhere on my body. Back. Front. Sides. The insides of my knees. Wherever.I like this device so much that I bought one for my Mom too.

I bought this unit in 2019 and it worked well. But this review is for their customer service.After not using it for a longer stretch, it failed to charge or function. I just called customer service to see if they might replace batteries (thinking this might be the issue) and they offered to send me a new adapter, suspecting this might be the problem instead.Having purchased the product so long ago, I really didn’t expect this type of response or service. Whether this solves my issue or not, I’m grateful and impressed. These people have just earned themselves a loyal customer.

not nearly as good as the one they used to make (i wore that one out!) with 3 balls on each side. this one just has two and they work ok on the back, but don't reach the sides of my neck.
