16.5-Inch Freestanding Classic Electric Fireplace with Remote – Adjustable Heat by Northwest (Black)

Item arrived November 2021 on time, undamaged and as described, except there is no remote. I am not sure why remote is mentioned in the title. I did not expect a remote control to come with this item after reading the description, and looking at the photos. Adjustable means you can select 750W or 1500W. I ordered this particular heater for the clean simple look of it. (see photo) There is no logo on the front. There is no other glaring light to interfere with the flame effect, other than a small red glowing dot in the blower area. The controls are on the side and towards the rear. I totally agree with all the other favorable reviews. I decided to wait a year to review so I could confirm durability, at least through one winter. I probably had/have it turned on at least 6-8 Nov thru Feb in high desert region of Arizona. My tuxedo cat loves it also.

For a small heater with flames, this little guy does a great job. The flames look realistic and the heat output is much better than expected. It is relatively quiet as well. It will heat our living area, albeit small, just fine on Low setting heat. The only assembly is the installation of the lehs which are put on the lower corners, thre screws each, Phillip's head screwdriver #2 is all you need. They hold the plastic feet fine, just make sure not to overtighten to the point you break the plastic. No, I did not do this myself but I have seen people do it! Great little flames heater for the price.

We love it. The cat loves it. It makes the living room very cozy. We also dry winter boots by the fireplace.

The media could not be loaded.  This electric indoor fireplace is about the size of an average nightstand. Its cute with a "real" flame ambience and works well enough. To test it, we turned off our central heat and turned the high heat on the electric fireplace. While the temp was dropping outside, the temp inside the house rose 3 degrees in an hr! Looking forward to using it throughout the winter. I also like that it can be used without the heat feature on for when I just want the fire ambience. Would definitely reccomend.

The heater works good, heats fast, looks good! I only use it to heat my small office (10X10). With that said... it’s very “plastic” for a lack of better words! The heat comes from the bottom and that’s the only place that gets hot! The rest of it is completely cool to the touch! It looks very nice. I guess everything is plastic anymore!Good for the price!

We love this fire place as it warms up both our living room and kitchen in about 15 minutes of turning it on the low setting. It looks great too and saves space. Using it hasn't added any noticable extra cost to our power bill. It's much more cost effective than our other heat source.

Looks great! Maybe we should not use it in our 3-season sunroom, but it is not as warm as we hoped. However, it heats up super fast and does get quite hot in terms of temperature.

Purchased this stove for a small sunroom. Was loud and rattling from the start and required something heavy placed on top. Stopped working the 6th time it was turned on.

Very easy to assemble, just attach legs, flame is a nice graphic, attractive little heater.

Nice little heater... compact and quiet. I have never even had to use the High setting.
