Gardening Farmer Protective Arm Sleeves- Scratch Bruise Resistant, Gardening, Cooking, Cooling Arm Protection- Floral

I really should have ordered these a long time ago. I love gardening and plants in general, but I seem to be sensitive to anything that grows. Simply brushing against greenery causes anything from a mild rash to full-on hives, and digging in lovely rich soil is guaranteed to result in tiny red spots and itching. But I’ve refused to give up, and I just get used to it (and rinse off a lot).I’ve seen these types of gardening sleeves, but I doubted they would work for me. What finally goosed me past my doubt was the design on these–I love dragonflies. Thankfully, my very non-scientific reasoning has paid off. I still get a little itchy, but not nearly as often and definitely with milder reactions. It’s important for me to note that the continuing itchiness is not the fault of the sleeves: I make big, fun messes.The sleeves are comfortable, even in high humidity and intense sun. They stay up well thanks to the anti-slip treatment at the top of the sleeves. They wash super easily, and the stitching has held up with no problems. I recommend these highly.

I was really excited to order these to use when I vegetable garden. In the last few season I noticed my arms reacting more to contact with some of the plant stalks as I picked. I has avoided buying gardening sleeves before worried I would get too hot in them. It wasn't until I tried on my son's baseball sleeves that I realized I wanted a pair for gardening.These sleeves are really pretty, with crisp images and fun gardening themes. The fabric is soft, cool to the touch, and has good stretch in the arm area. Unfortunately there is a band at the upper cuff that does not stretch well (meant to help keep the arm band in place on tge upper arm), and is so tight I can not pull the sleeve much past my elbow and even then it cuts off my circulation. So I can not rate it's effectiveness against irritation or sun protection. In terms of the bands themselves I love that they have the thumb holes so they even protect the backs of the hands and part of the palm. They also apper to be well made with good seam stitching. They are a good value with 2 pairs to the pack but some sort of size range would have been helpful. While I unfortunately can't use these I'm sure I'll be able to find someone to gift them to.

I just have to share how much I adore this set! It does everything it promises...it protects me from the sun and prevents scratches while keeping me cool, wicking away sweat, and a bonus keeps bugs off my direct skin. Plus, it’s absolutely gorgeous! Every time I wear it, I feel elegant, dainty, and pretty.I do wish they had options for us curvier ladies, but I found a little workaround! I adjusted the upper arm band to fit me better, and now it’s a perfect fit! The elastics are super reliable-no sliding down at all. In fact, I took mine apart to add an extender for my larger upper arms, and it worked like a charm! Now, if I were smaller, it would have been a perfect fit (it was close, though), without my adjustments. I weighed 240, the highest I have ever been, while they adjust my thyroid meds.These pieces are not only beautiful, but they’re also made to last. I get compliments every time I wear them, and people always ask where I found such beautiful items. I honestly can’t imagine my life without them! They help keep those pesky bugs away while I'm gardening and make working out in the sun so much more pleasant. When you're wearing them, you don't feel the beating sun on them. I think you’ll love them just as much as I do!

I've been trying to find a pair of sleeves that fit my plus size baby pythons easily. These don't go all the way up my arms, but they do go under my t-shirt sleeves, so this is the perfect fit for me. The silicone band keeps them from sliding down, even when I'm sweaty. I wore them to work out in the yard. Normally, even with sunscreen on, I'd come in at the end of the day and have 'sun poisoning' breaking out on my forearms. This would then entail a doctor's visit for a round of steroids to clear it up. What surprised me, is the package included a neck gator. No where on the listing does it state that it includes a neck gator, so this was a nice bonus! same material as the sleeves and same print. Nice coordinated set.It covers my arms, allows for me to wear my thorn gloves or regular garden gloves without interference. They protect my arms and function as they should - no more doctor visits for doing yard work! They are comfortable and are so easy to use, I have no more excuses to avoid the sun on my arms. ECLAT-ASU - I'll be back to get another pair for my car! great value and excellent quality. 10 out of 10~!

My wife, the gardener in the house, rated these 4 stars, mainly because of the fit. She has another pair of gardening sleeves already and was looking for a second pair to use when the other ones are wet, dirty, etc. She felt that these sleeves were not as tight and and as a result were sliding down over time when she was using them. These sleeves have a silicone strip in the seam closest to your shoulder (similar to the silicone strips on bike pants or running pants) that is supposed to prevent them from sliding down, but that only worked partially for my wife. Obviously the sleeve sliding down defeats its purpose... And of course this will depend on the size of the arms of the person wearing them. As a reference, my wife is 5'7", 115 pounds and a runner, so her arms are toned, but not big...Otherwise she liked the sleeves. They are very colorful, easy to put on and comfortable to wear, and work as advertised (when they are staying up). They worked well trimming rose bushes and gave a little more protection from the thorns.
