Using the recommended dw9116 charge but getting a fast red blinking light ("replace battery"). why?

This battery is a Lithium Ion battery and the DW9116 is not designed to charge it. You will need to find a Dewalt charger designed to handle Lithium Ion batteries like the DC9310.

After 3 recharging cycle with a dewalt li-ion charger the battery quit recharging. no light on the battery or the charger. what’s wrong?

I use a Dewalt charger DW9116. Without a battery installed, the red LED flashes once when I plug it into an outlet. Do you have access to another charger? As a test, try charging your battery with another charger.
