Works great perfect for camper

Smaller than I expected but works great so far. The supplied compression fitting are a little suspect but installed and seem to work correctly.

I have a countertop ice maker and ordered this one to produce larger quantities of ice for situations like parties or to use in coolers. The unit is easy to set up and operate but you will want to be near a source of water, power and a drain. Once everything is connected, turn it on and run a cleaning cycle prior to using it. The unit creates 3 different sized cubes and does so rather quickly. This is great for last-minute parties or trips. It can produce 79lbs. in 24 hours so this is great for the early morning fishing trip. The icemaker looks very nice and seems to be well made. Sound levels are what's to be expected for.

This ice maker does not get cold enough in its holding bin area to keep ice frozen ! It starts melting as it is making ice so all you end up with is a bin full of ice water. So you can't leave it hooked up as it just ends up half ice and half water ! needing to be drained out every couple of hours . I had it hooked up inside at 75 degrees temp . Evidently it can,t store the ice it makes !

Took us a little while to get this set up. I didn't realize that a water line was required in order to make this work. So we had to take the time to install a waterline. Because the area where we had hoped to use it outside. Did not have one in place. Fairly simple though, thankfully, my husband and brother-in-law are construction workers. So it wasn't a huge task, so do keep in mind that a water line is required. For this unit, as far as the quality, it Kix out a lot of ice in a short amount of time. So we were impressed. It gives you the square cubes which is good because they don't melt quite as easily as most. Ice We've used it in coolers as well as in drinks and the quality is superb. No, funny odors, no strange tastes. It's perfect for our household. As mentioned, my husband is a general Are contractors so sometimes the workers come over and BBQ or pop by for one thing or another. So it's nice to have the ice on hand we're using it in our outdoor kitchen and it couldn't be better. Irregular sized commercial was far too large for what we needed. So this was the perfect size to fit in the area that we needed it as far as portability. Again. It is portable and easy to move around. However, the need for a water line makes it a little difficult to move here. And there, when needed? I wish there was an option to manually fill it with water. As far as money value for your money, it is good. Let me tell you. This is price right for what you're getting. And it's functionality is amazing. So definitely. Definitely recommend this product

This makes Ice fast, but like others have stated it does not have a freezer to hold. This is for someone who is going to go through the ice and not really need to hold it. We use it when we are having a lot of people over and it handles the ice need.

Makes ice pretty fast , however does not keep ice It starts to melt and does not drain fast enough . You end up with ice water and have to empty out by hand . I do not recommend buying it!!!

There are three basic steps to using this ice maker: 1. Clean it. 2. Install It. 3. Power on! The actual installation is not complicated: Supply water, supply drain, supply power (receptacle). If you are installing it in your home and you are not experienced in plumbing or are not handy with tools, get someone to install it for you. Few things suck as much as water spraying all over your house. If you are handy with plumbing, it is a simple connection. Where you install it makes a difference in how fast it produces ice (i.e.: it will be faster in a climate controlled area vs. a garage.) The controls are not the most intuitive. You may want to make yourself a cheat sheet (it would have been nice if the manufacturer had included a label with this info to stick on the side). There are a lot of long-press, short-press and blinking or partial symbols on the screen that give great feedback if you know what you are looking at. It does have several good features such as telling you when it is producing ice, when the tank and ice bucket are full, etc. For the price, I have never found an ice maker that was this feature rich - there is even an LED light inside to help you see!
