I like to go for long paddles, but by the time I'm done I would typically be pretty sore in my tailbone and lower back. I didn't have high hopes for this cushion, as I thought it looked like it could be kind of uncomfortable and possibly sticky material. I was VERY pleasantly surprised!! I opted to use it without the thin cover. It was so comfortable. My tailbone and back didn't hurt at all, and I went for a very long paddle my first time out with it. It also kept me dry. Try as I might, the seat of my boat always ends up with some water in it. Not the worst thing, but not the most comfortable, either. This sits up just enough that the water collects below it and stays off of me. I was further surprised when I dropped the cushion right on a dusty dirt road (of course) and NOTHING stuck to it at all. This one is a winner. If you're debating, buy it.

I use this cushion on my computer chair to add a little more support and comfort to its thinly padded seat. It really does make a difference on the old behind!

Really is significantly better than any other kayak cushion I have tried. I can paddle 2 hours now without a sore bum. Highly recommend.

First off, it doesn't matter what colour you choose because they all have a black cover.I have an Oru which has a notoriously thin and uncomfortable seat. With my self-padded bottom, I thought I'd be fine but after a ten-mile kayak, I was crying or, at least, I wanted to cry, and my back and legs were killing me. Not any longer. This thing doesn't look like much, but it packs some cushioning. I slip it under the elastic strap to secure it and it really gives me enough relief that my back is no screaming after a couple of hours.

Feels like a marshmallow seat. Super comfortable. I use in my kayak but would be nice anywhere you sit for awhile like car or deer stand. Good quality, great value, performed better than expected and thickness is perfect.

I bought 3 of these for my 3 kayaks. they didn't slide. they were super comfortable and made the ride more enjoyable. seemed to have dried pretty quick after getting wet.
