Great bearings. Spin easily.

These bearings are quite smooth and silent. I thought I needed the open style without grease in them for my project but these actually move too easily. They’ll be great for other projects where I need super low friction rollers.

Pretty nice for the price and low friction/weight applications. If they don’t spin freely enough to your taste, a quick dip in degreaser will correct that.

Functionality wise, the difference between these and skate bearings is that skate bearings are packed with grease and closed. That means they don't spin as freely. I've made a couple of filament spool holders so far, and these bearings spin with zero effort. My original versions used skate bearings - those stopped turning as the spools emptied and became lighter. These spin no matter the weight. Ideal for what I need!4 stars because two of them were a little rough - they vibrate a little when spinning fast. Since I'm not spinning fast it's not an issue for me - but it may be for you.

The product description says they spin for 3 minutes. They don't spin anywhere close to three minutes. However, they do spin good enough to make a pretty good fidget spinner. I 3d printed a fidget spinner for my son and used these bearings for that. Doesn't spin as good as the bearings in a store bought fidget spinner but still has a decent spin time.It is unfortunate there is a misleading claim in the product description, so deducted a couple of stars for that.

I ordered these for a project we were making and they worked great. Definitely would buy them again.
