I have bought several of these over the years. Of all those purchases, this is the only one that has ever broken. It shattered before I could even plug in or turn on the television.To be completely fair I was buying at least 2 a year over the last 9 years and this is the only one I ever experienced any problems with.Brightness could be better.

Took about 5 min to remove the old and install the new bulb. Works great!

We have gone through 3 bulbs in the last year. This bulb is the best and is working great. In addition, the deal they provide for replacements is 👍!

Ordered this bulb after my last bulb finally died after several years of service. This item was easy to install and fit perfectly. However, after only 31 days of use (and just after my return window closed), the lamp light on the tv came on again. Fortunately, Amazon is issuing me a refund. Beware with this item.**Edit - after receiving the refund and ordering a replacement (because I needed the tv to work), this second lamp has now burned out after about 45 days. These lamps are terrible. Will not be ordering again. Save your money.

Just as the title of this review, this product is ALL GOOD!!

After having bigger issues with another Mitsubishi DLP, I decided I would yet again attempt to change a lamp, only this time in my WD65735 in hopes of getting my high quality picture back. My family and I were very happy when this lamp came and I installed it in less than 5 minutes. I plugged the TV back in and hit the system reset to put it back to default and turned it on... what a fantastic picture. We forgot how great this TV looked when it was new and are very happy with the purchase of this lamp. After all, it brought a fantasic, bright and very clear picture back to our TV, which was barely visible only a couple weeks ago.UPDATE:This item did bring the picture back on our TV, however, it died just before the warranty ended! Amazon was great at resolving the issue and we are back up and running with a lamp from Lamp Monsters. The lamp tube on the new unit looks to be a lot better than the item from Lamps Direct.

I own a Mitsubishi rear projection 65 inch tv. I noticed while watching a show that was taking place during the day, it was very dark. I order a new bulb, and installed it and wow, what a difference. I guess I didn't really realize the other bulb was growing dimmer and dimmer.
