Kurobara Honpo Black Rosa Blade Camellia, 8.5 fl oz (245 ml), Rust Resistant, Rustproof, Steel Knife, Pruning Scissors, Knife, Chisel, Lubricant, Maintenance, Unscented

I have both custom and utility knives I use every day. On my custom knives, which are high carbon steel, I use this as a thin coating to avoid staining from finger oil and other things that come in contact with my knives as well as protecting against oxidation (rust). On my utility knives (which are typically stainless steel), I use this to remove adhesives that accumulate on the blade when opening boxes for things I've purchased. Because it's a food-grade oil, it's safe to use in cleaning and protecting kitchen cutlery as well. It's non-toxic, odorless and food-grade safe. The spray top really helps to apply a thin coat. For the price, you can't go wrong keeping a bottle of this on hand.

Excellent on my Japanese knife handles and for blade protection on my blue 2 yanagiba.

! Ravis de mon achat! Ma femme aussi...

I used the forged chopping knife once every 4-5 weeks. The knife got rusty after a month that I need to clean before using. This Kitasho oil stay and not drying up after weeks, is able to keep the rust away. It is not sticky and able to clean quickly before use.

Very good product. Using it for my Japanese carbon steel knife.
