Special needs children (8-year-old twins -- boy and girl) who are confined to home due to the pandemic and this was the perfect gift for them to enjoy making music ad lib at home. They are having so much fun with the instruments!

We got this for our son for Christmas and he loves the whole set. The instruments are really well made. He's been banging on them for over a year and they're all still in great shape. This a great gift idea for any musically minded child.

I have no idea why this product got less than par reviews but this is an excellent toy for a baby. My child is a toddler and absolutely loves this toy. She loves playing with all the different musical instruments and honestly, so do I. The xylophone IS in tune. The person who gave that a bad review must either be a) tone deaf or b) got a bad xylophone. I highly recommend this toy as it keeps her busy and happy throughout the day.

My 13 month old grandson loves this "music maker". He loves music but I suspect that pounding on the instrument and harassing his parents is increasing the enjoyment index.

I was very excited to give this as a gift to my son and while he likes it I'm not so thrilled. First off, the xylophone and recorder are off key. I'm not a musician nor do I expect children's instruments to compare to that of adults but these sound awful. When playing a simple scale the notes are disjointed and annoying. The tambourine broke with normal use after a day. The only thing that seems to work properly are the castanets. Not worth the money at all.

Lovely product however had to request a replacement as the first order I received, the recorder/flute was missing!! So just make sure you check the contents

The paint goes away so it doesn't feel safe if the kids puts it in his mouth. The top of the drum broke pretty quickly... They are a lot of fun and look nice

Great musical set for toddlers but unfortunately we had to return it after not even one week of use as the tambourine has broken, very dangerous as kids could easily swallow the pin.

Every element of this product is adorable. Beautiful gender neutral colours and good quality. My 9 month old plays the xylophone with me and the sound is very crisp for a children's toy. The recorder is a bit squeaky but it could also be lack of (my) skill.

Really cute musical instruments for kids. Love the quality and diversity of the set.
