Belula Boar Bristle Hair Brush Set for Thick, Long and Curly Hair, Medium

I was telling my preteen granddaughter how we had been taught to brush our hair 100 strokes a day to keep the oils evenly distributed and promote shine. But we always had boar-bristle brushes. You don't get the same effect with synthetic brushes. This one is a nice combination of the two. The ball-tipped ends detangle and the boar bristles smooth the hair shaft and add shine. I already had to buy a second one for her and now my teenage grandson wants one, too. She and I both have smooth, straight hair and I think that I will try their all-boar bristle brush as that might be even better for our type of hair. She is a ballet student, so her hair is to her waist and takes a lot of brushing! But after only about 2 weeks of regular use she is sold. Her hair lays much smoother and is soft and shiny looking. My daughter and grandson both have extremely thick, wavy hair and this particular brush works very well for them. My daughter hates to brush her thick mane because most brushes cause it to go wild & frizzy. She really liked this one as it helped remove tangles but still left it smooth. The bamboo comb is great for initial detangling. Lost the first one to my son-in-law as he found it worked great on his thick beard. Like I said these are terrific if you can keep you hands on them!

I am 80 years old and have had long hair most of my life. As a child, my mother taught me to brush my hair 100 strokes with a boar's hairbrush to make it beautiful. In my youth, I had so many compliments on my hair. Of course, over the years, I neglected to follow her advice. I have never colored my hair, but there was damage from drying, and my hair thinned as I aged. I have used this brush and the one without the nylon pins for about a month twice day. I haven't done 100 strokes per day, but about 25 strokes twice a day. This brush with the nylon pins gets through to my scalp better and the boars hair bristles distribute the natural oils from your scalp. This seems to distribute the natural oils more evenly. By using this brush, my hair looks smoother and shinier, and the nylon bristles help to stimulate my scalp to make it healthier. The handle on these brushes is easy to hold, and the weight is very light. The brushes with and without nylon pins both are of high quality and look to be very durable. I believe they are a great value for the money considering the benefits they have on the health of your hair. I hope this review has been helpful for you.

I've been using this brush for about 3 years now. I chose it bc I read that boar bristles are good for aging hair. I have thick hair and wanted a brush that would be gentle for my aging hair as it becomes more brittle. I do get frizz from time to time, but my other big complaint is that my scalp has become dry and oily at the same time. It's annoying. Anyway, I love this brush! It's super gentle, but works great on detangling my hair. It makes my hair smooth and none of the bristles have fallen out. It supposedly distributes oil in the hair, but I have no idea how to test that, but I just assume it does. It's just a brush, I realize, but it is my favorite one I've ever had.

I have now purchased 3 of these brushes. I bought one for myself with some birthday money from my MIL and loved it! The brush itself is beautiful, way more beautiful than any other brush I have had. It is sturdy bamboo, and it comes with a comb you can use on yourself that doubles as a tool to clean hair out of the brush itself... So handy and easy to clean! It also has a storage bag to keep it clean between uses. The weight of it is great and the handle is comfortable. The bristles are perfect length. I definitely will say that the thickness of your hair totally dictates which brush you should purchase; they make one for thick hair and one for thin and the bristles are not the same at all. I know because I bought one for my aunt who has thin hair for her birthday after she told me about her hair breakage. I tried hers on my thick hair and I did not really like that. By the way, her hair is not breaking off anymore! And it has been growing quicker! My thick hair brush has been very stimulating for my scalp, also helping my hair grow quicker. Like her thin hair brush, mine doesn't break your hair at all either, even with pretty severe tangles in my curly hair. I bought a 3rd brush for my daughter because she is very VERY tender headed (autism affects her scalp sensitivity)... She keeps stealing my brush because it doesn't hurt her head at all which is the best thing I love about it! The bristles move your natural oil on your hair, leaving all of our hair shiny and smooth. My scalp feels so much less dry than it usually does now. It is the most expensive brush I have ever purchased, but the quality and the benefits have absolutely been worth the price. I know if I continue to take care of it like I have been this first year of ownership that this brush will last me the rest of my life without question! It even came with a Velcro headband that is also my new favorite for washing my face... Another thing my daughter is always trying to sneak into her bathroom! Great purchase, no regrets! 🩷

Me duele me pone de malas no bueno… sin embargo por recomendación compre este cepillo para evitar que mi pelo se vea grasoso si no lo lavo diario, y bueno… desde el primer uso fue como un delicioso masaje en el cuero cabelludo. I haven’t spent money on a quality brush in a while . I have a huge catchment of brushes for all the different styles that I’ve had over the years and one is another boar round brush. - (that I spent $50 on back the 80s ) . This one is far less and such a great deal I have added three more to my basket as I plan to give them as gifts this year. What a treat.! I have wavy shoulder length hair that tangles easily and always looking ‘frizzy ‘ without product . The brush is very gentle and truly does make your hair shiny and sleek( not oily ) . I don’t need the product now . Truly leaves my hair dealing smooth and healthy . The packaging is great , comes with a micro fiber headband with Velcro closure (that I love), a wooden comb to use to clean the brush. And a drawstring bag to package for travel. A very generous add on and the price point is below 40 ? I have not compromised on quality well, I compare it to other brands that are much higher. I read the reviews and I must agree this brush Exceeds my expectations . very pleased with my purchase It is fair to mention that the handle is not ergonomic, however it glides so easily through my hair that it’s not putting any strain on my hands. It’s a quality brush !

I love my new hairbrush so much I brought one for my sister. My hair has gone from dry to silky smooth. It has reduced the amount of knots i get significantly.
