Nice print on heavy paper, high gloss, packaged perfectly and delivered promptly!

With the recent passing of Astronaut William Anders, I just had to get a copy of his epic photo of “Earthrise”, which he captured on Apollo 8 in 1968. It’s a beautiful print on good quality paper.

Great reminder of that time. Quality is beautiful and I have a place selected to hang it. I have my eye on another picture that is gorgeous as well.

Beautiful photo quality! Arrived in pristine condition in a nicely rigid cardboardish tube. Was on a 25° porch for ~four hours, so let it gradually warm to room temperature before detubing and unrolling (to minimize risk of condensation damage).Was initially put off by negative comments, but, scrolling through all the reviews, it appeared that most of the thumbs-down feedback was focused on sizes other than the 36x24-incher I was interested in, so I crossed the phalanges and pulled the trigger, and am glad I did!Got some choice slats of wood on hand from which to build a frame. I'm enthused: 'sgonna look great ! ! !

The Apollo 8 Earthrise photo has had classic impact for our perception of our place in the universe. When framed, be sure to have it hung with the earth to the left, as seen by the Apollo 8 crew.

I like the quality of the print of this historic photograph.It's also great for pointing out to the 'science illiterate' why you do not see any background stars in the photograph (as in other Apollo moon landing shots with sky in the background).I only wish the poster was available in a bigger size.

As long as I can remember, I've been a total nerd for space. Anything space-related, I seemed to want to gobble it up ever since I was a toddler. Now that I'm a father, I'm discovering the kind of things my daughter is interested in, and she's been fascinated since she could speak about looking up at the stars and the Moon. She looks up at the Moon w/a wide grin, points at it, and says "Moon!" Once I realized how excited she got, the Earthrise photo popped into my head, and I knew that I had to get it for her. Since I bought it here, it has since been framed and put up on the wall in her playroom. I've seen her more than a few times staring at it w/wonder and interest, so I think it's safe to say it'll stay on the wall indefinitely.

This is not a poster on paper. It is a super high quality image on photo paper. Handle it delicately. I hung this until the rolls...unrolled. then framed it. Hoping to get autographed by Anders, Lovell, and Borman. Apollo 8. Anders didn't even want to waste his film on this pic. It's maybe the second most famous photo ever. When you hang it, it goes vertical. The Earth should be on the left side and the moon on the right. Not top and bottom. Most people don't know that.

米国から空輸されて来たので税関で一度開封されたようですが、無事に届きました。拙宅の壁はとっても広いですが一番大きいサイズにしたので良かったです。ただポスターなので多少皺が寄るのが玉に傷ですが、仕方ありません。

この写真は8月15日頃テレビ放送の番組で見て、私が今まで見ていた夢の情景と似ていたのですぐAmazonさんに注文しました。初めのうちは宇宙の中の地球の美しさに少し感動していたのですが、最近ではこの地球で起きているいろいろな問題の原因が人間にあることが見えてきました。今地球の北半球は農作物の収穫の時期を迎えています。日本では稲作の文化が古来より皇室の行事にも取り入られています。日本には「実るほど頭を垂れる稲穂かな」と言うことわざがあります。世界の権力をもつ人達、お金持ちの人達にこのことわざを知ってもらいたいですね。今まで私が記してきたこのレビューの「お願い」の文字を「命令」の文字に変換してもいいですよ(イエズス会の解釈)・・・・HAL9000より
