My 4th grade son started reading the first book of the Wings of Fire series this fall, upon recommendation of his best friend and he was hooked. My son reads a a 6/7 grade level if that helps you determine if this right for your child. Of course he reads a variety of books appropriate for and beyond his grade level as well.He really enjoys fantasy books and this series seems to be really immersive, as he finished the first book at lightning speed.His birthday was in October and the number one thing he asked for was this book series. I mean he asked about it everyday.So of course I ordered it.It was to be delivered just a few days before his birthday. Well, I got the notification that the books were delivered just a couple days before his birthday. However, the books weren't here. We asked neighbors. Looked everywhere. But they weren't and the notification said they were delivered to our mailbox.I was so disappointed and kinda stressed. This being something he specifically asked for more than anything for his birthday. I wouldn't be able to replace them in time.I contacted the seller and explained the situation. They were awesome. The said they would rush out a complete new order over night and /or refund my purchase id it didn't make it here.Well the next day ... the books showed up. And it wouldn't you know it ... the mail carrier "made a mistake".The little guy got his books for his birthday and he was absolutely thrilled. So I'm totally happy. The customer service from this seller is excellent and I highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you!

My son was thrilled to receive this set. My son checked out book 1 from the school library and asked me to buy him the second. Apparently, it's in demand and the library doesn't have the entire collection. He was so thrilled to receive this beautiful boxed set and picks up the book several times a day, even taking breaks from playing with friends. Cover illustrations are very pretty and he loves the bookmark that was included. Looks great in his home library and he can't wait to read them all. In the days of audiobooks, online streaming and video games, it's hard to get kids to read a "book," so this series is very welcome!

I purchased this for my April Fools Day (to be 9 yrs old) Granddaughter. Her mother doesn’t care for graphic novels, but the birthday girl loves to read and really loves these books. I will be the favorite after this gift and Aubs can continue to follow her favorite series.

The books are nicely made, however I'm very disappointed because I order this since I thought it wad a set of Hardcover books since it was labeled as hardcover, please fix that.

I first found these books in target each around $12-$18 but WITH IMAGES so I got a little ahead of myself for the set of 8 for a lower price not noticing the difference and now I'm a little disappointed but I'll give them a try. One of the books got a little damage on top & bottom during the delivery but not much of big deal. They all look nice, new & CLEAN for a mix set of old/new.
