Original Bottle, 27 oz Shaker Cup, Black

Let me start by saying that I am no workout-a-holic and I dont spend my days in the gym persuing the perfect body. Im just a young girl with a busy schedule who started mixing protein and supplement drinks to fit better nutrition into my daily routine. I typically drink 2 shakes daily, one for breakfast, another at lunch, and I spend my meal planning and prep time on good, solid dinners. I bought this cup for two main reasons. 1) Because of the smaller 20 oz size (I cannot and should not drink the entire contents of a standard Blender Ball cup) and 2) because of the seperate compartments for powders and such. I love that I can store my powdered protein seperately from my milk/water and assemble it the night before work, so its easy to grab as I run out the door in the morning. I dont really do any suppliments besides a daily multivitamin, but I use the divider compartment to store some dried fruit or nuts for a midday snack. I noticed that some other reviews mentioned issues with the cups contents sweating and causing powdered suppliments to clump. I personally havent had any issues wih this, but it is winter now, and my drink is only unrefridgerated for the 45 minutes or so it takes to get to work and put it into the breakroom fridge. We shall see how this cup fares in warmer weather in good time. The shaking mechanism is similar to my Sistema shaker, though the design is better refined. I have zero leaking issues with this cup (just make sure everything is snapped tight before you shake up). All components disassemble easily for cleanup, though I do use a bottle brush to clean out the rim of the lid where the shaker snaps into it, espically if it sits awhile before it gets a good washing. The shaker blends very well, even when I have to use my husbands cheap wal-mart powders in a pinch. It is also much quieter that the standared wire ball, which my cat appreciates. Even though I never would due to my matching compulsion, the parts from these cups are interchangeable, so different colored cups can be cobbled together to make Frankencup. If you're into that. Bottom line: this is a great cup! Well worth the extra few bucks to keep things seperate till you are ready to use them, and there is a color for everyone! Mine is green, but a pretty blue might be in my future as well :)

I've been using mine for a few years now, almost. It continues to work fine. It isn't fancy or complicated. I like that there is a little storage area on bottom of cup for your protein powder or other nutrition powders, etc. The lid stays on tight, the drinking tab stays on and is comfortable to drink from. The shaker part pops out for easy cleaning, or if you just dont need it.

This is a pretty neat mixer bottle with 2 sections that you can use for powders or pills to take along with you and to store. You can take the divider out of the pill "cup" and use it as another powder storage area. You can just add one of the "cups" to the bottom of the mixer and not have both on there. I have only used this mixer for pre and post workout drinks so they are not as thick as a protien powder. There is a removable screen on the top lid part that helps you mix the drink when you shake it but I guess would block big chunks from getting through and drinking a chunk. If you are going to mix a thicker powder maybe you can add the metal mix ball from the other mixer in this as well. I really like the construction of this shaker compared to a lot of the other ones on the market. Very sturdy construction and with how wide the cup is very easy to clean. I store only attach one of the cups to the bottom with a post workout drink and take it along with me to the gym and when I am leaving add my 20 ounces of water, dump the powder in after the water (water first then the powder helps from the stuff getting clumped and stick at the bottom). Markings on the side for fluid levels, Dishwasher, freezer, microwave safe. Quality construction, very reasonable price.

I really like this cup. Its very convenient with the different chambers. I can carry all my supplements for the day with me which is better than having all the containers in the trunk of my car. The middle compartment has a removable 4-part divider which can be used to separate vitamins, or taken out for another area to house powder supplements. Cup is sturdy and the color looks great. Does not have a mixer ball to keep up with which is great, however the honeycomb mixer in the top of the cup doesn't always break up powders well in cold liquid. Overall a good cup.

I've had quite a few shakers in my lifetime and this one works as good if not better than all of them. It was exactly what I wanted in a shaker, the expandable compartments are secure and convenient so is the bottle with easy to read measurements ( just got to hold it at eye level to get it correct ). It does not have a steel ball which I feel works the best, however I've noticed over time the ball will scuff the inside lining of the bottle which if not cared for will begin to smell, so the screen works great and I haven't had issues with it yet. New favorite shaker!

I bought three at a time: one 20-oz blue and two 27-oz black. The two black ones have a much lower quality - loose attachment, scratches on the surface (look almost like secondhand rather than new), and the material feels soft, not solid at all. The blue one is very pretty with good quality. I tried to read the small label on the bottle and found the 27-oz black was labelled as "smartshake v 2," while the blue one was just "smartshake." I guess the quality went down as they went for a "version 2"? I contacted Amazon customer service and they agreed to refund me for the two low quality bottles and waived my shipping fee for another 20-oz blue bottle. So I'm still giving five stars. The 27-oz version would be a better choice for the size, but the low quality and limited color (females might prefer any color other than black...) is the deal breaker.

The cup's storage is great. The two compartments are why I prefer this cup model over most other variations. The main construction of the cup and 2 mini-cups is solid. The lids however are made of a much softer and less durable plastic that will shear/crack after not very long. Not even 2 months after buying this the spout cover that you lift/close in order to drink out of it started tearing. Soon it will tear completely and I'll be unable to reopen the spout without taking the entire lid off because the plug maintains a good seal. I end up replacing lids every couple months

I love that I can easily store my protein powder, supplements, and liquid all in one place. It's convenient and cute! I would give it a five star rating if the pill/powder compartments had individual lids. It would be nice to have the option of drinking it without the other two portions attached, or being able to just use the powder or the pill portion. It did dissolve the powder pretty nicely, especially considering there isn't a metal whisk included. The plastic lid part seems to do a decent job. I will definitely be purchasing more in the future:]

Estoy contenta con este producto. Es un sólo vaso, con accesorios que te permiten llevar polvos u otras cosas en los compartimientos. Enrosca muy bien por lo que el líquido no se derrama. Tienes las medidas tanto en los compartimientos como en el interior del vaso. Es muy práctico. Lo recomiendo.

I have the black and gold version of this shaker and my other half was jealous, so I bought her this blue one. Rather than write out another review for essentially the same product, I thought I would simply copy the other review over here. So here it is: In the last month alone, I've been through two shakers, this being my third. I've come to realise that you really do get what you pay for when it comes to drinks shakers and while not breaking the bank at less than 8 quid this isn't a cheap, no frill, Sports Direct shaker. However, those extra couple of coins really do translate into a much higher quality product. The small, 600ml main shaker is big enough for anyone do dissolve their powders into (if you need more than that, then you're taking too much or are far too large a person for me to say that too face to face). The lid seals onto the shaker very will indeed, with everything being a nice tight fit and nothing leaking at all when shaken vigorously. I still like to place my finger over the cap when I shake though, because I don't particularly like to live dangerously. The mixing component of this shaker, like most others, consists of a plastic screen/seive that fits between the lid and the cup. However, unlike cheaper shakers whose mixing plate sits on a ridge in the cup, this on slides into a recess on the lid and is held tightly in place by its own snug fit. No more placing the mixer plate on a precarious surface while I throw powder into the cup for me! Also no more balancing the mixer plate on the inside of the upturned lid. The two smaller "cups" that come packaged inside the shaker include a 4 way divider, so that one of the cups can hold 4 separate things (nuts, pills etc) separately, whilst the other can hold your powder. These cups screw onto each other and in turn on to the main shaker, making it the size of your normal, standard shaker. Due to the size of the cup, cleaning is a breeze as you can get your entire hand right the way to the bottom and give it a good scrub. Also included is a small, aluminium carabiner and tiny keyring style loop, allowing you to clip the shaker to the outside of your bag should you have it packed out, although I'd be surprised if you couldn't fit this thing in your bag no matter how many pairs of wet swimming shorts you've left in the bottom of it. My only criticism is that the two smaller cups aren't water tight. Personally I have no need to carry liquid in them but it could be useful for some, I suppose. When I eventually forget to wash this thing for a weekend and it smells like death, I'll be straight back on to Amazon ordering another one. Very impressed.

After using a few cheaper makes I decided to try this Smart Shake bottle and I was not disappointed. The colour is really bright and eye catching and the compartments for tablets and powder come in handy when travelling back and for work. The mesh at the top of the bottle stops all those unwanted lumps, would definitely recommend.
