These are really nice stones. I got a pound and only 3 or 4 out of the 16 or so did not have much blue on them. So in other words the rest of them are this awesome blue color. A lot of them have pyrite (fool's gold) in them so that adds more to their unique color also even one of the ones that didn't have much blue had alot of pyrite so that was cool. I'm mainly in to getting stones like this because of my interest in geology and I don't have a tumbler right now but I do want to tumble a few of them when I eventually get one, but I won't tumble most of them. I really like them just the way they are. One thing I do recommend though is to wet them and brush them with a soft toothbrush and then let them dry because they are a bit dusty when you get them. This is just natural and they are easy to clean off.

Pretty impressive. The rough stones are gray and unimpressive, but after a first pass at rough tumbling, the colors come out. The samples I got had lots of nice streaks of pyrite, and were a nice bright blue. See the blue stones from my rough "before" photo, and after first coarse tumble photo (I mixed the lapis with a bunch of other kinds of stones).

I received my lapis lazily stones today. And I must say I am very pleased I received a great bunch the lot of them are beautiful 100 percent real lapis lazily raw stones. I will be ordering from them again . I am very pleased. Delivered on time as stated. I am very happy with my purchase. I rinse them and say them in the sun for 30 min I felt the power off these stones right away. Very powerful

Overall, this was a good purchase and is one I will make again. My stones didn't look much like the stones in the picture, but I will be able to cut a few very nice cabs from what I did receive. Some pieces had strips of white calcite and some had a fair amount pyrite. For me, this was a good mix of lapis, although the stones were smaller than I would usually buy. I bought three different stones from this vendor and this is the only one I will buy again.

These are really nice! The picture in the description has a bit more blue than the batch I got, but the rocks are pretty darn blue (once I washed the dust off them). The dust is just rock residue, so it's no problem. My batch had some pyrite which looks like flecks of gold, so that was a fun surprise. I enjoy the history of art pigments, so it's fun to actually have the source for natural ultramarine blue.I would have given five stars if they had as much blue as the picture, but it's close enough. You won't be disappointed.

Everyone in the house was happy about these stones. I bought them as a gift for my best friend. Before I showed them to my friend, I gave one stone to her son (10 years old). He was super excited because apparently Lapis Lazuli are mentioned a lot in a game he plays. He said it was like I gave him gold. Then he held on to the piece all day. What we did not expect was how the stone would brighten and deepen in color. So we all took a stone and held it. The same thing happened to each of us. The pictures attached show two different stones from the same order. The darker, brighter one got that way after I held it for a few minutes. I highly recommend and expect to order again in the future.

This is the first time I've ordered from Crystal Allies Materials. I was beyond satisfied. The assortment was 90% top quality with nice size and remarkable color. Two pieces were (what I consider) a lesser yet interesting quality. The size was good but the color was more muted. I look forward to shopping with these guys in the future.Dawn Robert

Best price I've seen for a while lapis lazuli is a very sought after stone and it being raw make it worth more to the people who understand it's uses. more blue and gold mean better quality and the pieces I received are very much that

Machine-cut pieces undermine the beauty of the stone. Too bad. Similar to photo though.
