cured my 8th gen Civic Si wipers that would go into party mode randomly during a rainstorm and pick their own speed or just turn off completely for no reason. worst part by far is getting the wiper assembly out from under the cowl! the actual installation is extremely simple once you the wiper in your hands.

The wipers on my '07 Civic Hybrid are no longer possessed. It was a rather fiddly procedure, but the results are deeply satisfying.

The wiper motor cover was a perfect fit for a 06 civic ex. The erratic function of the wiper motor ceased after installing the cover. If the wipers of your civic are not working properly, Honda has a service bulletin (07-071) to fix the problem, just download it and follow the instructions. But first, you'll have to reach to the wiper motor, There is an excellent instructional video on YouTube on how to do it. Overall, and with the right instructions on hand, this cover may just be the needed part to fix the malfunctioning of the wipers in 06 and 07 civics. One more thing, you don't have to detach the wiper motor from the linkage assembly, just get the whole assembly off the car, and change the cover plate while the motor is still attached to it.

Fixed my issue on Civic, which the wipers didn't stop at the bottom. No issues to far, happy in the rainy season.

This part solved wiper problem on 2007. European version of civic sedan (4 door).European Honda dealers don't have the cover plate for wiper motor in the parts catalogue, only the whole motor.
