Good value for the money
Update: I've had this camera as deep as 75' now and no leakage at all in the housing. That said, the video quality is similar to iPhone 3 or iPhone 4. But for $25, it's already paid for itself in capturing memories. My daughter recently completed her scuba certification and so I wanted a cheap underwater camera to document our first official dives. I figured that for $25 this camera was worth a chance. First off, the watertight case is impressive. (Actually, more impressive than the camera!) It took me a bit to figure out how to open the case and there are a few plastic sheet protectors that need to be removed. For the housing lens protector plastic I had to unscrew the decorative black cowling which I thought was odd. Our dives were only to about 20' but there was no leakage at all. (We will be doing deeper dives in a couple weeks and if there are problems I will update this post.) Charging the phone worked fine and the battery lasted for 3 dives without needing to be recharged. The water was murky but the photos were acceptable despite that. One thing I noticed is that with bright sunlight, the image quality improved significantly. The pics I posted are screen caps from the video we shot. The overall video quality reminded me of my old iPhone 3S. It was fairly easy to switch between photo and video mode and turn the camera on/off to conserve battery power. I will say that you need to really firmly depress the shutter button to activate and was the only minor drawback I found. Lastly, to get good pics and video, you need to be conscious of holding the camera steady and pan slowly. I give it 5 stars because for the price it is an excellent value for an entry-level uw camera for kid and family fun.

Seems Like a Lot for the Money
Seems like a good value for the money considering all you get; but the one I received did not work. Returned it and tried another one. I was able to find a place on my electric bike to mount it. Price wise, this is more than adequate for what I need it for. Aug. 6, 2022- They were on sale, so I bought 3 more. The long story is the scooter people wouldn't ship me just one more, so "naturally" I bought two.. Can't let them sit around w/o cameras on them. Also I bought the extra one because I needed mulligan on one of the mount parts; and since I'm getting like 4 cameras for the price of a higher end one, it's good to have the extra wires & parts around. The sad part of the story is all the strange people who are inconsiderate or just down right crazy behind the wheel. This is an entire topic of its own. I'm a lifelong non cell phone user. Another reason I like these cameras is they don't emit wireless signal at all. I have a meter & I test everything I buy. And in my view it is the cell phones that are contributing massively to the insanity behind the wheel & in other places frankly. I've attached 4 of the neodymium, magnets to the bottom of a mount & covered it with a rubberized tool drawer liner material so the magnets don't scratch the headlight. Plasti dip would also have worked. This last part is the new & improved design of this mod. It now looks factory. I could actually reverse engineer (from the Chinese ) these already very fun bikes into something worth much more with improvements I would make in their original design, if I had the gumption. Mostly it's just materials I would upgrade. Ok, you pulled it out of me, I would make the frame out of aluminum or carbon fiber. The headlight is retro round & non led. That's so cool. I like that. I would leave that as metal. Thank you for reading my idea.

Not even worth my money...
Needed a cam to record my work rides. Handlebar mount INSTANTLY broke. The adjustment knob broke when I was tightening it. The battery life is horrendous on the power saving setting. Came with no instructions. Only recorded 2 minutes at a time until I figured out how to set it. What's the use of that????? The weatherproof case is useless if you need to charge your camera (we do ride in rain yk). And despite saying 1040p, it is very very horrendous video quality. At least be honest. It's honestly junk. I just got a used name brand version and a used camera is much better than this junk.

You get what you pay for. Poor night time video quality, 20 ,minute battery life.
This is a “you get what you pay for” situation. Despite 12MP resolution - at night the video quality is quite poor. Battery life also lacks - about 20 minutes per full charge. I purchased this to mount on my electric scooter because of too many close cars with very bad drivers running red lights and city buses running red lights. I have to say that the water type case in the mounting options are extremely good given the price point. I was going to give 2 stars however, if you need a camera for fair quality daytime video for no more than 20 minutes of runtime between charges - this is for you. It should also be noted that the camera does not include a micro SD card (not clear in the description), - I purchased a 2GB card for about $12 on Amazon and it works fine. If I had to do it again, I would spend a little more money for better battery life and especially better night/dim lighting quality.

Remarkably good camera for less than $20 (plus buying a memory card)
This tiny little camera captures really clear photos - I used it both in and out of the water. It doesn't take very long to charge the battery. The biggest complaint I had about it was that it didn't come with a memory card so you'll end up spending an extra $7-$15 buying one - I think the max memory card size this supports is 32gb but that's about a thousand pictures and 9 hours of video so I think you'll be okay. Installing the memory card is very easy. The waterproof case is nice and all the buttons respond well through it.
