I have preferred basic cotton bars for years. I also am a C cup, so most cotton bras don’t offer great support. This one is different. It is largely cotton, but does have a thin non-cotton liner in the cup. NO Pads, which is a huge plus for me as I very much dislike padded bras. Also no wires… I have long avoided underwire bras.I just found this style after not finding the previous style of Playtex cotton bra I had used. That other style did not offer good shape support, but the cups were all cotton.The fit of this new style was surprising. There is no wire, yet it provides good lift on the bottom and sides and very nice shaping. The fit was a little snugger than I was used to, so I did have to return the first ones and get the next number size up.The more elastic part of the strap is short and starts at the back, so the strap over the shoulder is very comfortable. This is the first bra I have worn that I am comfortable in for quite long periods of time.Overall a great bra, and still mostly cotton.

I am a short, small, senior lady with a D cup! I have all kinds of expensive bras but for some reason this gives the best lift. The bottom band is much better than any underwire. I don't do well with any bras with foam or padding. This fits well on both sides, is very smooth under t-shirts which I live in, yet gives the best lifts for going out clothes. I have about 6 of these. My only complaint is that it only comes in white. I wish they came in various colors, especially black.

With ALL of the wireless bra options out there...I opted for this one. The Playtex name has been around forever, so I took a chance and I'm glad I did! It arrived quickly (thanks Amazon) and I was impressed with the fabric, quality and feel. My plan was to be a "weekend at home bra" I found that the straps are not very long and at it's longest length, it feels a little bit high and tight, but I'm hoping it'll relax a bit. The sides come up perfectly at the armpits without feeling weird. But the cups have slight wrinkles, perhaps I don't fill out the cup all the way, maybe temporary from shipping? But I'm l hoping it'll relax with a few washings. The "underband" (under the cups) is nice and short, which is my MAIN concern because I have a short torso and most of the soft/wireless/shaper/sport-type bras have a long underband and those tend to roll up under my boob-fold and it makes me crazy! :( This bra does not roll up!Cons: it is SO supportive that it feels a little bit constricting right now, probably because it is only 2 days old. Also, I have to do the clasp/hook&eye in front of me and then spin it around, then slip the straps up because it is unforgiving to put it on regularly...I almost dislocated my fingers and wrist on my first try!! lolBut I am glad to wear it after wearing a regular underwire bra all day at work. Looking forward to it getting a bit softer over time. Well....there you have it ladies...it's worth the money and it's a good price. I love these. I ordered several more. The straps stay in place & don't dig into your shoulders. It has fairly good support. I wear a 42 B & that's the sz I ordered.

I normally purchase Bali Bras, and have worn a size 36 D for over 30 years. I ordered this Playtex Bra because it said it was moisture wicking, and I thought this might be good for the summer, instead of my regular bras that I sweat in. when I took it out of the package, I really liked that the cups were not just "stretchy cotton", they actually had regular cotton cups as a "liner". But when I tried the bra on, I couldn't even get it hooked. I finally gave up and pulled it over my head...and it was definitely NOT a 36 bra....though the cup size was not bad.

Before purchasing this cotton bra, I read all the reviews, pro and con,.and.decided to purchase this bra anyway after a particularly hot humid Philadelphia Pa day after peeling off my non cotton bra. Perfect for summer days where I live. Perfect.44c, not toght, doesn't rub, washed beautifully on a mesh bag on the washer (hang dry), no shrinkage. My actual band.size.is 43 and c cups on t shirt bras are usually too big.for.me.)..and b is too.tight. I. came to this site to.buy another in preparation for the hot humid Philly summer. Concerning the comments of the.strap size , they fit me perfectly, but I am only 5 foot and can understand some one about 4 inches taller may have an issue with the straps. Wish it came in other colors. Extremely comfortable and no swimming pools in the cups.

This bra checks all the boxes: inexpensive $17.99, cottony fabrication, white color, wireless, no uniboob/light compression, seams don't irritate, excellent lift and support for 40DDD. Also holds up great in washer and dryer, but it does shrink noticeably in the cup and band after washing. For reference, I measure 35" underbust, 43" bust, and the 40DDD fit just right after washing and drying on high heat with the rest of the whites. The bra does stretch a bit with body heat after a few hours to be more comfortable. Highly recommend.

I expected this to be a sort of old lady bra, and while it’s true that it’s not so sexy, it has a natural shape and comfortable support. I am happy with it. It doesn’t breathe as well as I had hoped, but it doesn’t chafe at least. I would size up a bit in the cup.

Very nice bra just two sizes smaller, even when l order my size. Recommend you go up one or two sizes to get perfect fit.

Not the support that I expected, for jogging.

Took some finding a cotton rich bra.Would prefer cotton material cups but knitted will have to do.Cotton is so expensive now to make anything & these bras are much more comfortable than synthetic fabric in the hot weather.Hand wash will keep this a good shape.The hooks are not wide enough,so had to add an extension hooks to place as seen in the picture.The model was way smaller busted than a fuller bust.Suggest the next cup size up to fit well or there is no separation of bust,as pictured. At last a really comfortable bra.Always go for ‘cross your heart’ support. Like most underwear not as good as used to be.This a good compromise.

Finally, a bra with cotton ribbing against my skin. I’m sensitive to the stretchy latex or whatever they normally use and have tried several bras to solve the (rug burn) sensation under my breasts. This is the best bra I have found.
