After doing a lot of research I decided to purchase these organic Licorice caplets and I am so happy I did!! I was skeptical after reading some reviews about the caplets breaking. My package came secure and yes the bottle has a lot of stuffing in it for care so the caplets don't break. As soon as you receive them you don't have to keep all the stuffing inside as it is a pain to take it all out everytime you need to get a caplet. These taste great, are a perfect size, and go down easy.There are a lot of benefits in taking Licorice and I am excited to start my organic Licorice journey with these. I am already feeling the positive results Licorice has to offer!! :)

I read up on Chinese herbalists using licorice root in many compounds, and that it is a great aid in digestive maladies. I have had 1/3 of my colon removed due to a cecum twist, and have been looking for a natural alternative to chemical bowel "help". The nightmarish surgeries and chemical compounds gastric doctors shove down your throat to "fix" you often make you have additional problems and feel more sick than before. After three weeks of a consistant dose of this product, I believe that many gastric doctors should study in China and learn of herbs before they can "practice" on people. I love this product and wish I had found it 10 years ago to have certainly avoided surgery. I thought perhaps the results would dwindle off, but it is consistant, and I am so pleased, I hope this brand does not disappear as many do on Amazon.

This is a great product and one of the few that is full licorice with nothing taken out. My husband won't be without it as it keeps his very low blood pressure 'up' enough so he can function. We ran out once and his life literally went on hold until we could replenish the supply...and that is the only problem with this supplier - that although the price is great it takes weeks and weeks to arrive, which didn't become clear until after I ordered. But we will use this product and supplier again - we will just need to plan more in advance!

8/2024Hey Amazon...attempt #2I've used your product for sometime, and hoped that somewhere along the line you had a sighted individual that would look at the packaging and say, hmm, I think we could do this a different way.I love that you use glass jars, that's awesome, but cotton is expensive, and that's a lot of cotton; I have 3 hand conditions: trigger finger with osteoarthritis, Duypuytrens contractions and Carpal tunnelI have to use a tool of some kind to get the cotton out of this bottle- I've used pliers, screwdrivers and did resort to a hammer once, but todau I found a seam ripper and twisted it untill I could get it out.Needless to say, none of those are easy to do. My hands are on fire.They have been 43 weeks right now, and I just took an extra dose of something to help me with the pain, and this cotton removal put me over the edgeThere's no reason for it.When I first started using this, I was getting jars that had broken pills in it, and I did report that, but you need to rethink the size of the bottle. It would cost you a lot less money, and it would cost us a whole lot less in shipping.Do the right thing.I wrote this months ago.Not clear why it didn't post. This is an add on.7.2024- You need to rethink your packaging. I had to use pliers to get the cotton out of this bottle. This is ridiculous. MAKE THE BOTTLE SMALLER.SHOW THIS TO A WOMAN ENGINEER. PLEASE!I normally have zero issues swallowing pills of ANY kind. These have gotten "stuck" a couple times and Whoa Nelly, they have a nasty taste that takes forever to go away. They are not a coated tablet which isn't a problem normally but for some reason, these are sticklers.I've tried several brands of this supplement. I have to take this as I have severe gastric issues and don't want to take Rx pills.

Got two of these one for myself one for my brother we both have acid reflux. He takes two a day and baking soda for acid reflux, which is terrible. He had terrible heart burn everyday, but after taking this for three days it stopped it's been a couple of weeks and I'm not sure I can make him stop taking them. For myself I didn't use it because I changed my meds and am waiting to test it myself. But, it seems to work well.

Finally, a licorice product without the active ingredient removed (glycyrrhizin). This stuff is great for the stomach, but too much can raise your blood pressure so watch out for that.This also seems to act as an antidepressant, and my energy levels are more consistent and stable throughout the day.
