The Beach Boys - Pet Sounds [50th Anniversary Stereo Edition] (Vinyl/LP)

Had no idea the influence this album and The Beach Boys had on various artists and early Rock music in LA. I found this out after watching Echo in the Canyon and decided to buy Pet Sounds on vinyl. I have really enjoyed it particularly after the documentary.

An excellent example of the best of The Beach Boys. Brian Wilson is extraordinary.

Had been watching some TV specials on the Beach Boys and came to realize that I didn't have this progressive album, so I was glad to find it available on Amazon. Product was as advertised, fairly priced, and arrived when promised. My only complaint, and reason for 4 Stars, would be with the manufacturer as this CD contains both mono and stereo versions of each and every song. Unfortunately, they chose to place the mono and stereo versions adjacent to one another, so if you want to simply sit down and listen, you ended up hearing every song twice in a row, back-to-back.

I’m a big music fan since the 60’s. I love The Beach Boys. Since this CD had been hyped as a ground breaking miracle I decided I needed to buy it.Personally I don’t get it. I think it’s a big dud and even worse, boring.

I was surprised that you had this album. Got it for a friend. And she loves it!
