This is hands-down one of the BEST purchases for the home I've ever made. Although we've been composting for decades, we'd always made do with makeshift receptacles. My menus mainly include lots of fruits & veggies so I generate tons of compostable scraps. When I saw this attractive, large & very practical container, I chose to give it a try. Although I had a "we'll see" attitude about this item, I can confirm that it is a solid choice! The charcoal filter does the job and this compact container holds more than you'd expect. I also think this would make a very practical housewarming or wedding gift.

Bought one because both my niece in her house and my nephew at camp have it. They love it. Works just as it says. Filters come out for simple washing. I love a product that does what it says. I don't compost, but it keeps odors away until contents discarded. Compost if you can!

I really like this bucket. I've washed in the dishwasher and it comes out clean and pretty - no rust or hazethe only thing I haven't appreciated is a lack of information about what to do with the fancy air filter(s). How are these to be cleaned and maintained?Minus one star for leaving me with this important maintenance information missing.

This compost bucket is perfect for what I need. I keep it under my sink and it's readily available every time I cut up vegetables. When it's full It's easy to carry to my compost bin. It doesn't smell and nothing can get into it. This compost bucket is exactly what it says and works perfectly! I used to use an old plastic bucket which had to stay outside my backdoor. It was very inconvenient to bring in as it would draw ants and other bugs because it didn't have a lid. This new compost bucket has solved the stinky plastic pail problem!

This one is a game changer. It’s easy to use traps all the smell in and convenient. I use it for my compost pile.
