Coloring Fun
I bought this for myself, an adult, to color in when I'm bored or just want to do something creative that's not too involved or make too much of a mess.I have to state that I'm used to computer-generated graphics, so the hand-drawn look of these pages does not inspire me. These are not clean-edge lines, but instead will insert themselves into any coloring that I do, taking away my full ability to highlight areas in my way.I think that these are great for kids to teach them color harmony, placement, and maybe even a little theory. It's not a bad product at all. It's just not right for me.

Great Stress Reliever!
I actually purchased several varieties of these coloring books to share with my grandchildren ages four and seven. However, whenthey arrived I realized they were too intricate for their young ages. So I took up the colored pencils and started coloringin them myself. I find this activity to be extremely relaxing and a great stress reliever. I highly recommend it to everyone withstress in their lives!!

Great Coloring Book for Tweens and Above!
We bought these for our 9 1/2 year old daughter for Christmas and she was very excited about these books. We also got her the PrismDesigns Coloring Book as well. Great buy! She does rip them out to color them though so they don't bleed through, or she'll put a piece of cardboard between the pages. She loves the Prang Fine Markers to go along with these books.

Fun, fun, fun!
We have an 8-year-old, so I thought my wife wanted this coloring book for her. Boy, was I wrong! She wanted it for herself! Lots of enjoyment out of coloring the different patterns.

Spaces too large for me.
If you're looking for intricate patterns to color, this book isn't it. It isn't very interesting, and the designs are too large, and spaced far apart. I like to color because the repetitive, detailed coloring helps me de-stress. This book is more for general coloring for kids, it wasn't what I wanted or expected.

Beautiful
I purchased this book along with optical and circular as a Christmas gift for my sister. The pages have a good weight to them and feel very smooth, no accidently ripping these pages when going to the next! All images are well printed, no fuzzy or grey lines.

mostly good
on the whole it is good there are some unusual patterns but i did find them on the large size and felt that if the quality of the paper was a bit better it would not soak up so much of the ink also it would be very useful to be able to see more of the pages in the book to see if they appealed to me as an adult or if they were more suited to children

Good combination of art and science
Bought for bright 10 year who has enjoyed the complex patterns and has used colour to show various aspects of the science.Clever using the much loved practice of colouring in to learn and understand some complex ideas.Much enjoyedChallenging at the age of tenSuitable for up to 14 years of age to provide visualisation too.An alternate approach to a subject. A nice wayof developing the more able student too.
