I got these because I had a 25th wedding anniversary party and wanted the cake to be a bit different than what most wedding cakes tend to be, and thought these might help.These risers come in 3 sizes, 4",8", and 12" diameter with each one being about 4" tall. And they have lids with a hole in them so you can remove the lid easier and that is what holds up the next tier. They also give you 3 LED light strands to go in them.Since our theme was more winter holiday, we put in fir branches and holly berries in ours, and put in 2 strands of the LED lights. The results were beautiful. The size height was spot on and the acrylic was clean and didn't distract from the cake at all.Overall - LOVE IT! Having that "floating" layer on the cake made it a true centerpiece and had people talking all night. The fact that you can put nearly anything in that layer is a great feature - and helps personalize the cake even more. I can't wait to use them again!

I like the item, however it will sit on your cake without cake sheets. would have been nice to include for a bit more in price or at least mention on page that it's not included. Thumbs up on item though.

I got these in hopes that I would be able to use them on an client order one day when i was given creative freedom. I knew they would allow me to do something I had not yet done before with cake. This gave me the added height without the added cake, and cost to my client. It totally made m cake pop to the eye and gave the crowd something to look at!

I only ended up using 2 of the three pieces but they were beautiful! The lid comes off the base of the larger one so it’s easier to fill/arrange. It was sturdy and held the weight of my cake well (the actual cakes were 8 and 4 inches). I think the only downside of these are trying to get them clean after using! I have washed but also plan to use some windex to try to get them looking as nice as they did originally

I must say I was disappointed; one has several scratches on the top. I should have checked it when I first received it and sent it back. I did not want to open until I wanted to use it, so I won't make that mistake again.
