My doctor has me taking 900 mg of COQ10 two times a day. This product makes it more affordable to get such a high dosage. So far I am happy with the quality of the product. The ingredients are clean also which is a plus. When I take a product for my health, I don't want it to have artificial ingredients. The only oil in this product is olive oil.

My bought for my husband, who uses with his red yeast rice (statin). According to what I've researched, statins can slowly drain COQ10 (an enzyme) out of your body. This enzyme has to be added. Without it, body steals missing/depleted enzyme from heart or another organ, possibly leading to congestive heart failure or other problems.I love this brand. It is expensive but it's purity, simple ingredients makes it worth money. I have been ordering from same company for year's. My husband is doing great w this brand. I had my elderly Dad using it, my elderly mother in law and was beneficial to them, too. All their cardiologists never had an issue with brand or dosage suggested. I feel the COQ10 stopped beginning of enyzyme loss in Dad's heart, but too many years went by, not aware, with my motherinlaw's. She ended up with full blown CHF.

This CO-Q10 by Healthy Origins is the only one I'd buy. It is from Kaneka CO-Q10, the form the body absorbs best. There are a lot of versions of CO-Q10 out there but you'll waste your money if it isn't formulated in a matrix that maintains its potency.
