Run for this when I say this has been the only moisturizer my skin does not break out with! I am using this with a combination of products as well (new routine). I am using 100% Paula's Choice products which includes using their (step 1) Pore Normalizing Cleanser, (step 2) Pore Reducing Toner, and (step 3 only 2-3 times a week at night) 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliantant. I use these in this order then finish with this moisturizer (step 4). I do my skin care in thr morning and evening. This moisturizer has a delightful consistency and dries quickly with a very nice subtle glow but not oily or sticky. I'd also like to say it's 100% worth the price. I've been on a long 12 year journey of finding the best products for my skin. I have sensitive, oily, hormonal acne prone skin. Things like diet also play into part however my diet isn't perfect because life doesn't always let you pick and choose from time to time what you put into your body. I am dairy sensitive (likely worsens my acne) I'm also sensitive to caffeine. I don't drink alcohol either. Note that caffeine is dehydrating leading to your skin becoming more dry and sensitive to products. As for moisturizers they typically make me break out. I get these small pumps around my T-zone and constantly have to leave my skin dry without products. Its like the moisturizer binds to the oil my skin makes and clogs the pore. Even when moisturizers claim to be "non-comedogenic." I was ablut to give up on all moisturizers thinking they just dont work for me. But I was desperate to find something moisturizering because of the dullness in my skin, the discoloration from past breakouts, and the flakiness from constantly drying out my skin. Not to mention the ever deepening creases of my forehead wrinkles and smile lines. Full disclaimer, I also have PCOS and do take birth control. My birth control does help, but never fully gets rid of my acne (worse around my cycle). If you are someone with PCOS or considering birth control for your acne, consult your doctor for what best fits your needs. I only find out I officially had PCOS through blood work - high testosterone levels, vitamin D deficit, some male hair growth (mustache area and around jaw line), etc. If you are unsure if you have PCOS, but believe you have symptoms, I would highly recommend getting blood work and consulting with your doctor about it. PCOS is not the end of the world! You can take control and live your best life! Ever since I got my diagnosis (a few months ago) I have felt a huge weight come off my shoulders. I was in denial for so long and I never wanted to know the truth because I was afraid of being different. But I then found out that there are also tons of women who are dealing with this as well! Heck there's a community for any medical condition you can think of. You will meet them through your health discoveries like I did and communities like them keep me motivated to keep trying. Heck I found out 2 of my closest friends also have it as well! Also I recommend finding a doctor (specialist preferably) that is willing to work with you! Don't take no for an answer (if they say no it's likely because it's out of their knowledge). Best of luck :) As for the moisturizer again here's a list of brands that never worked for me: CeraVe, Aveeno, Skin Script (given to me by aesthetician), Neutrogena, Bubble Skin Care, Y'our (personailzed brand), La Roche-Posay, Dermalogica, and Proactive to name a few. I have not gone through all their products but those that are for acne prone skin. Message me for specifics. I used to be a CeraVe girly for years. I'm 24 and in highschool I did Curology for years. My skin did pretty well however I never used their moisturizers. Just the basic face wash and my custom night time cream. Then in my skin seemed to change when I hit 18ish. I then was just over having to pay $64 every 2 months for mediocre improvement. Also the smell of the night cream began to bother me. So I switched to a cheaper over the counter method, having done tons of research about what my skin should need, aka salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide for treatment. I got both in cerave (acne control cleanser and acne foaming cream cleanser. Used both separately at different times. Noticed the benzoyl peroxide was overly drying and exfoliating only to make me break out more. The salylic acid one seemed to do ok.. but I always ran into issues of over drying, peeling, and more acne. As for the rest of my routine. I never used any other products. Occasionally sunscreens, I dont like them, I get more breakouts, but when I need them for days out in the sun. Having switched to this new routine has been a game changer! I believe the lack of exfoliating products is helping to regulate my skin better-not so dry, red, and irritated. I am also going to leave more reviews on the other products as well! The toner is also a game changer! It has reduced my oil production substantially and I can say that it helps the moisturizer not worsen my skin (binding to oils). It is also a low does of niacinamide. I originally has a little leary to try it, having tried the Ordinary niacinamide serum, but that is at 10%, which can causing purging for some. Nevertheless, I believe from my results the technology of the moisturizer still owns up to its non-comedogenic properties. I hope this review helps someone in a similar situation! Thank you Paula's Choice for a routine that finally works for me! I've seen massive improvements in my skin texture, redness, dark spots, fine lines and most of all acne reduction (basically not breaking out anymore.. knock on wood, maybe a small pimple or two occasionally, but the best so far)

Love this lotion! I was a little apprehensive because of other reviews I have read about it not absorbing well, this feels more to me like a skin barrier type lotion -- it doesnt immediately soak in like some do, but it is there to protect at length instead of dissipate. I have been using it for several days and I will definitely continue to buy -- makes my skin very soft and doesn't burn like some lotions do. And no scent! Love it. Its worth the price in my opinion.

I love Paula’s choice products and this moisturizer is no exception! It’s been great at keeping my face moisturized no matter the weather outside. I have very sensitive skin and this moisturizer doesn’t cause break outs or sensitivity! Love the quality and it doesn’t have an odor! Highly recommend!

I really love Paula’s Choice moisturizers as someone with sensitive skin. They’re certainly worth the price in that regard… and they’re worth the discomfort. It’s incredibly - incredibly - difficult to get this product out the tube. I would speculate this problem is so apparent because there is so little product in the container. Very soon after purchasing, you’re going to have to squeeze with all of your might and if you’re like me, until you’re shaking, in order to get enough product out of the container. I’m not sure how one would fix this problem though it certainly isn’t a problem I’ve experienced with another product. This is a unique issue for me but this is also the most expensive product I purchase for my skin, and it also comes in the smallest quantity. I don’t think I’d notice this problem if it came in a larger amount because then I wouldn’t be squeezing so hard so quickly after first purchasing. I hope this makes sense to the right people. If you really struggle with strength in your hands, this may not be the best product for you based simply off the design and how much product that design is holding. But if, like me, you have very sensitive skin, it may be worth it. It does make me a bit sad because how long will I be able to use this product? Until it becomes too uncomfortable for my hands to squeeze it out. So I write this review with the hopes that the design and product quantity can change for people like me.

So far I really like this for at night. It’s thick and moisturizing. There is no scent which I like. I thought it would help with redness and irritation, but it hasn’t yet. I think it’s mostly just for dry skin. You don’t need a lot for your whole face so the size will last a while.
