Wubbers Classic Series Bent Chain Nose Jeweler's Pliers

I really like the way these feel in my hand and the springs reduce my fatigue. The price is great for the quality. Ok, so perhaps the Tronex are even a bit better quality, but these are so much better in price. If it is for a business going all day long and the business foots the bill, I might chose Tronex as they really spec their tools for each application. For the value to someone at home doing wire wrapping in soft copper as a hobby, Wubber wins.

I have arthritis in my hands and Wubbers are very comfortable while I work on my wire jewelry. The shipping was in a thin plastic envelope lined with bubble wrap. When I recieved my item the package was half open. My item was still in it and undamaged. The time of shipping was fast!

Just what I've been looking for. For people with big hands (or small), who work with/on small things. If you're tire of the poking hand soreness and pinching of your skin from the small pliers, then these are for you. They are nicely polished, comfortable, strong, but not heavy, precision made, and they keep your hand away from the fulcrum. My twelve year old prefers these over the smaller pliers and his hands are half the size of mine. They are well worth the cost and the only brand I will be using from now on.

These are comfortable to use. The handle is long enough so the end of it doesn't dig into your palm. The jaws are big enough to grip as much ring as you need but the bent pointed end allows for detail work. I use them in combination with Wubbers wide flat chain nose pliers. The biggest rings I have used them with are 14g 7/16". They have a light spring, and I would prefer something just a bit springier. A little more spring would rate five stars.

These work very well. I was using the small inexpensive pliers and my hand was cramping up. I'd been using these for a week or two, and I picked up the old pair the other day and could see why my hand had been hurting. These are larger, have more padding and less play in them than the cheaper pliers. I do chain mail and it's worth the extra cost to get the extra quality.

I am a chainmailler. The Wubbers are the best for the price. These are quite large, so if you're petite you would probably want the smaller version. These are for "man hands". I have several pair in different styles (chain nose, flat nose, round nose). These hold up exceptionally well and are quite comfortable. I use mine for hours at a time. Highly recommend for the avid intermediate or occasional user. If you can afford the professional Swanstrom series, they're the best IMHO but they're easily twice the price.

My tools of choice for making jewelry are Wubbers because they are ergonomic, comfortable, professional quality and affordable. I've been using Wubbers for years and have only repurchased a few of my tools because of losing them, not due to wear or problems. Quality is as good or better to older traditional brands and the price is much better also.
