I purchased this for my pediatric patients to hold during shots. They love it and it works very well as a distraction and motivation/reward (some of them start asking for it as soon as I arrive). I've been using it for a year now and it has held up well to regular use, frequent cleaning with an antibacterial wipe, and the occasional drop. The music is a little repetitive, but since it's usually only on for a few minutes at a time, that's not bothersome, and it isn't unpleasant music, just the same short song repeatedly.

LOVE this. Bought it for a client after he had broken a similar toy. I don’t know how long this will last yet, but he is THRILLED with it.

My 2 year old son loves it however, the tune that replays over and over was driving me absolutely insane so, for further reference if any parent wants the sound removed open the thing up and remove this disc and boom works lovely and no song

I bought this for my medically complex 1 year old to play with at his doctor’s appointments. Literally the first time he played with it, the very first time he dropped it, it broke and half the lights wouldn’t turn on. Within less than an hour of use it stopped spinning completely and would only start again if I hit the side. It’s currently sitting on my floor glitching out, starting the song over and over and not spinning. I am SO disappointed with this toy. Considering that it is marketed as “autism friendly” I thought it would be a little more durable. I NEVER leave reviews but felt like I needed to for this toy.

This is a great spinning wand!! Get this one! I am so happy right now, because we’ve been through three other spinning wands (including a licensed name brand one), and all of those had the most frustrating battery setup. Those *other* wands took AAA batteries with a really awkward compartment where you have to unscrew a tiny screw and slide the cover off…but the cover itself has the battery contacts built into it. There’s a spring on one side of the cover that’s supposed to push down on one battery, and a tiny raised metal contact on the other side that’s supposed to line up with the positive end of another battery… So you’re trying to hold the batteries in place, push one down with the spring, and at the same time get that tiny metal point to line up perfectly with the other battery. The contact area is so small that the batteries barely connect, and the wand would only work intermittently. It was incredibly frustrating, especially because my six-year-old son with autism loved it when it worked…but it almost never worked consistently. THIS one is such a relief by comparison. It takes AA batteries and has a normal battery compartment—no weird sliding cover, no parts attached to the lid, and everything fits in securely. It also feels much more durable than the others we’ve tried. The music is really clear and pleasant, and the lights and spinning effect are beautiful. This would be perfect for an Easter basket or any gift. I’m so happy I finally found one that’s designed really well! Five stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My son loved this but dropped it & it stopped spinning.

My grandson really liked his new toy yesterday. His first response was a big smile and he took the toy and walked away with it, then watched the lights for a little while and ignored the toy but came back to it lol so I think he likes it 😄. It’s not a very loud toy (unless you ask his sister) the lights are very nice and bright and it spins quickly which he liked. The weight of the toy is evenly distributed, it takes 3 aa batteries which aren’t included so really none of the questions Amazon asks for in this review are appropriate however he liked the toy and that’s what counts ☺️

I bought these for a two-year oldest birthday gift. It is cute and I'm sure she'll enjoy playing with it, with its attractive lights and sounds. It certainly is age appropriate. Batteries are easy to install, but a small phillips screwdriver is required.

Bought as present for friends 9 year old with autism - he has had a lot of changes to school and staff, very frustrated at times, hitting out. However, this wand torch has calmed him a great deal, hold Alex turn on and listen & watch the beautiful rotating lights It has helped a lot Before giving to him I tried it out for 30mins and wow good for meditation my cats were also taken aback by it . Easy to put batteries in with small ended screw driver, bottom side component slides out to place 3 AA batteries and slides back on Feels sturdy to hold not thin and flimsy Wonderful melody bewitching - all in all excellent buy at an affordable price . Will buy another for myself and I don't have any autistic traits but stress of oldr life can be overwhelming at times ,so a must have item for any age group to help one focus,alleviate stress factors- the wand lights up with Especially beautiful colours in a dark room -

My niece loves this item - she even took it to her special school to show her friends there. Look good, works well and it’s portable!

My autistic 2 year old grandson actually loved this but with 5 minutes of him having it we realised that the top globed actually opens up and separated with the slightest of squeezed. It's a shame but the quality is poor. Emailed the company as suggested on the label but got no reply!?!

Great while it lasted! Broke in 2 weeks :( my son dropped it & it broke in half. Not good value for money at all. Thought it would be stronger than the others as it had ‘sensory’ & ‘autism’ in the title but nope. I wouldn’t bother with this one honestly.
