Easy and light weight
Weather had mild breeze so it was not wind tested, but the anchor was light and sturdy and it was easy to "screw" into the sand and slip my umbrella in. It held it up with no issues. Great price and product.

Works great, holds the umbrella like it should
We bought this to take to the beach obviously. Getting this to screw into the sand was a little more difficult than I thought it would be, but once in, it stands up nicely and holds on to the umbrella. The set screw that secures the umbrella in place holds very nicely and doesn't allow it to back out at all.

Does the job
This umbrella anchor worked very well. It definitely kept our umbrella in place when the winds picked up on the beach. I was a little surprised how big it was but it is very sturdy. Would definitely recommend!

Couldnt remove it
Well it worked on my 12' wide umbrella. So well in fact I couldnt get the thing off my umbrella. I had to use a jig saw to cut it off (and cutting some of the pole too)! If you dont mind keeping it attached forever, it should work very well if you have the correct size post to fit it.

Even the manufacturer's video shows the product doesn't work well.
I don't know what the sand is like where you are, but here the first few inches are soft and loosely packed, then it gets dense, damp and hard. The product gets thru the first few inches, then it hits the hard packed the sand and the screw can't deliver the force needed to get the holder deep. It worked for the wind sock in the light breeze, but it won't hold for much more than that. For an umbrella it won't work at all. Watch the manufacturer's video, the NBC reporter can only get the holder screwed in half way and at the end the demonstrator touches the anchor as he gets up & it wobbles. Unfortunately, I did not get to use it within the return period, so 16 bucks wasted.
