I am really liking the X Fantom wallet. This is light (but not cheap), sturdy and well-made. Operation is wonderful. My 5-10 model is 'full' with 6 cards albeit 1 of those is the archaic embossed-style cards. I think an embossed-style card counts at least as 1.5 cards. I am left-handed. This is definitely designed as a right-hand operated device, but it is still quite workable. I have used both sandwhich-style (ridge) and slide-out style (GL) wallets and have found the Fantom to be the best so far. The only complaint I have is the money clip (ordered separately) can ONLY be installed on the topside of the wallet (because of the design of the clip itself) which restricts access to the thumb-slide cutout when bills are carried. I would prefer the clip to go on the bottom of the wallet. Fantom should offer the clips in both configurations.

Decided to surprise my boyfriend with a wallet as he was carrying a traditional leather wallet that was falling apart. I wanted something that wasn't super cheap in case it breaks after a few uses or a super expensive one. I had wanted something along the middle and I came across the Fantom X wallet. Pros: -minimalist and love the carbon fibre finish -featherlight and small -durable -matches his electric car interior console -the fanning feature as it was so easy to see all your cards at once -lifetime warranty -trendy and futuristic looking -helpful instructions and packaging was well thought out -fast shipping with Amazon Feedback: -perhaps a coating to prevent scratching and bumpers on the corners -accessories are a nice addition, but costs extra. I decided to purchase the silicon band to hold cash and receipts We waited a week before writing this review as we wanted to make sure we had a solid product. I highly recommend this wallet as my boyfriend has travelled with it throughout the US for his work (he's in mechanical engineering), and had dropped it a few times on job sites, and no issues. The wallet is a gem to have, highly recommended!

Cool wallet, has that X factor! 8 months with no issues so far.

This new wallet suck!!!! I had the old version that had their circle plus little metal magnet spot and it held perfect. This new version is a piece of trash that won’t even stay on the MagSafe stuff.
