WORKS FINE..BUT
My puppy decided to use my laptop cord for a teething ring and left it in less than desirable working order. Thankfully it was off. I have since concealed the cord in a cover that conceals them and reduces the chance of destruction. After looking at the prices of genuine HP adapters and others on Amazon, I decided to try one with decent reviews and a little less costly. The blue tip was an identifier for my unit, so I ordered that one. The cord arrived promptly and I plugged in it and it worked just fine. The only problem is, the tip doesn't fit tightly enough into the plug so the cord comes out way too easily. It appears the plug in part may not be totally as thick as the HP brand.Coming unplugged is annoying but I had it too long to return. However, it charges, it doesn't get hot and it had a decent length of cord on it, which I liked. Fair price, will work, but plug is not secure.
