Boots came rolled up in a ball which caused the tops to roll over and not stand up straight, I put the paper packing inside the boots to see if expanding them for a duration will form them to stand straight, otherwise the boots appear to be of heavy construction and should last a long time. I especially like the thick heavy-duty soles which should provide good traction. Follow-up. After sitting for a couple of days with packing in boots they now stand upright.

Just got these a few days ago and they stand out among the dozen or so pairs I ordered. I am after a no-frills boot for going around in the rain and muck during the rainy weather and at the park/trails with the kids and pets. After having worn them about an hour around the house are keeping ythe feet warm and have some support on the footbed. I like that as opposed to the literall ALL RUBBER of some other models. I got the size 9 black and it seems a little too roomy, perhaps a half size too big but with thicker socks or an insole, that might help. I wouldn't want to go on a long hike in these.. but then again can't say i would want to go on a long hime in many of these rubber boots. Hunters are more comfortable... but for an extra $130 ... meh... Thinking I will keep these.
