I'm SO glad I did, because this is an amazing little machine. It heats up quickly and the indicator lights are super handy and take the guesswork out of cooking. This waffle maker makes large, fluffy waffles, just like I get in restaurants. My kids got excited by the waffles we got on vacation and were asking for them at home. With this waffle maker, I’m able to control the temperature to make them either soft or crispy, depending on how the kids want them. The temperature is easy to control and adapts quickly to tweaks. It cooks evenly and without needing to flip or turn during cooking. The non-stick cooking works great for getting waffles to release, even when I neglect to add cooking spray. Cleanup is as simple as wiping with a damp cloth. It’s a great waffle maker. I hesitated for a long time because I don’t like having too many appliances cluttering my kitchen. This one stores upright in my cupboard and takes very little space.

This purchase replaced an old flip maker I had. Since I have an air fryer of the same brand I decided to try this one. It makes a very good crispy waffle. It's not quite as deep as my old one but for the price I think it's a good buy. It heats up very quickly and didn't stick.

Omg, the best waffle maker ever! There are 3 heat settings which is great for everyone's preferences. My husband and I love extra crispy waffles and this unit delivers. Clean up is a breeze and it stands upright for storage.

I had just visited Belgium where I took class in making waffles. They are not something I’d make often, but my grandson often ate the cheap frozen ones. He likes cooking with me so I figured we could make batches of these that he could eat instead. Most of these small, simple makers are about the same price range. As I shopped, I needed easy cleanup since these are always a messy creation. Next two features I looked for was how the heating elements are shaped to figure how well the distribution would get to all the area of the waffle and next how solid the hinges worked. Many of the cheap units appeared flimsy. Results of this unit’s review was that the hinges are one of the most solid configurations. Heating elements wound around the whole area of waffle surface. Cleanup wasn’t bad. None of these units have removable grates, but they are nonstick. Making waffles was good. Bottoms always cooked nice and evenly, but tops are hard to get similarly browned as the top doesn’t stay as hot as the bottom. Storage was good since it can stand on end minimizing the shelf space it requires. Overall, I’m pleased with this unit and plan to make many waffles on it with my grandson.

This in NOT 1700 watts, it states on it that it is 1100 watts. I bought it specifically for the high wattage. It did not brown the waffles and they were not crisp. I tried 3 different waffle recipes to no avail, they were all soft and pale.it did not get hot enough. I contacted the manufacturer and they said they did not make a 1700 watt unit. Amazon needs to change the info on this unit. I am returning it as it works poorly.

Compact and easy to clean - waffles come off easily without having to use a huge amount of oil on the plate or in the batter. I do like how it can stand vertically to slide into the cupboard more easily and not take up so much dang space. This would be great for a newlywed couple without much space in their apartment - and everyone loves waffles!

Smaller than expected. Doesn’t seem to get hot enough to make crispy waffles. Not easy to clean. Wish I looked at larger ones..

We really love this waffle maker. What sold me on it was that it was PFA-free ceramic nonstick plate. It heats up quickly and nothing sticks to it. Even when someone puts in too much batter, it really wipes off. It doesn’t get hot to the touch and it makes excellent waffles. I would definitely buy it again.
