Good bean, good company!
Overall delightful taste, and loved the smell. Opened the bag and our kitchen and living room smelled like good coffee. I'm really happy this company is doing good and helping orphaned and vulnerable Kids. So delicious, fair trade, organic, and charitable. You can't do better. Oh please consider a whole bean option.

Spoiled by this Peruvian coffee
After many years of paying premium prices for famous medium roast coffees from Hawaii, Costa Rica and Brazil, I've found my favorite in this wonderful Peruvian coffee. I'm also happy to be supporting fair trade as I enjoy the complex nutty flavor of this high value product

Switch it up regularly and this is good
I run a coffee mess for my 16 person Coast Guard unit. We go through coffee like crazy, so we try different types in bulk often. I try cheaper stuff like Kirkland, and Dunkin, and Folgers... etc that we rotate through. But try a better different option to keep things new and different. Got this 5lb. Bag and it is good. At 41$ it's a bit out of the range to get all the time without our coffee funds going into a deficit, but I can treat the crew with this from time to time. I saw some reviews saying that there is a mild flavor or no taste. I disagree. The taste is smooth and and even. There is 0 bitterness to it whatsoever. It's mellow and we all liked the flavor. It's a nice color and makes a good cup of coffee. Again, the crew and I really enjoy this and will add this to the rotation when funds allow.

Gobena makes great-tasting coffee!
When i shop for coffee there are several aspects of the product that are important to me: it must be organic and medium roast. Arabica beans are better quality than robusto, and Gobena is 100% Arabica, grown in the Peruvian Andes. The coffee i buy must be Fair Trade, and i appreciate that Gobena is not only that, but the company supports a great cause -- Lifesong for Orphans. Most important in my choice of coffee is the aroma and taste, and Gobena has that wonderful flavor and aroma that coffee lovers appreciate!

Excellent Coffee in 1 or 5-pound recyclable bags
From Fair Trade, Farmer-owned cooperatives in Central & South America, with a choice of 1 or 5 Lbs, dark or medium roast, whole or ground beans. Great coffee at a reasonable price. Cooperatively grown in Central & South America, ground or whole bean, packaged in sturdy brown paper. great!

Delicious organic coffee.
After getting used to drinking this coffee, other coffee doesn’t taste very good! Smooth taste, never bitter.

Grind is off for drip coffee maker
The coffee has always been delicious. I’ve ordered several varieties and reorder frequently as a staple for our pantry. Recently, the last two batches of the Peru blend have not been ground correctly for a drip coffee maker. They are too fine. The coffee is not drinkable. BITTER and full of grounds. The Honduras blend was not affected.
