My deck is 8.62"...are these trucks a bad idea?

You should get trucks and decks that are within 1/4 inch in width

Do these trucks come with hardware?

No not really. They did come with washers but that's hardly hardware.

Is this truck only for 7.75 deck or can it fit other decks?

It fits a board 7.75 or bigger. If the board is smaller than 7.75 the trucks would stick out, and you don't want that. I would say these trucks are the best for a 7.75-8. Any size in between would be fine.

These trucks are great, but I only received one.

These are great trucks, but the seller I purchased listed it as if they came with two trucks in the description, but only one arrived. You may only get one if the price seems too good for two. I was able to return, but a little disappointed after waiting for them to arrive and now having to wait again.
