Great value with my Whisperflo

Replaced pool pump so I took the occasion to replace all of the plumbing from the point where the pipes came out of the ground to the point where the pipes go back into the ground. These worked out great and looked really clean and professional. Because they’re half unions, future work will be easier. Glad I purchased them.

These are ALMOST a direct replacement for the original fittings on my Pentair pump. The old fittings had round "O" rings, these are flat. I hoped to be able to swap out the portion of the fitting that screws into the pump (the old one was cracked and leaking) but the "O" rings were different so the surfaces wouldn't mate. Consequently, I ended up cutting out the old fitting and gluing in this one. It worked perfectly. Decided to change out both suction and discharge at the same time. No leaks. These are well made. In fact, I think they are better than the original parts. Time will tell if the "O" rings hold up to the chlorine.
