How long is the lanyard? Long enough that can use without taking off? Thanks.

It’s on a cord/necklace that has sort of a slip knot on it. It will allow the cord to be longer or shorter. I am able to use the eyeglass easily without taking it off. Also, it’s long enough that I can slide it on and off over my head without detaching anything.

do you have to hold this with your hand or just place it and hold it with your eye? thanks

You need to hold it with your hands. You can wear it like a necklace. When you go to the supermarket and need to read small texts such as product descriptions, it will help you very conveniently.

Can anyone tell me if I use +2.00 for reading glasses, which magnification strength I should get in this product?

Yes, get it in +2.00, the same strength as your reading glasses. This product works well in a pinch, but is no replacement for reading glasses.
