This suction cup is perfect for changing halogen bulbs on my track lighting. I was looking for something that could aid me in changing my bulbs where fingers do not function well. This little changer worked well. Only issue I have is the suction strength. Had to readjust a few times to get the bulbs replaced.

This tool has NO sucktion. Does not work at all. Waste of money

The contractor lost the similar suction cup that came with our Wolf exhaust hood, and it's needed to remove the bulbs because they're recessed slightly. This did the trick.

This light bulb remover has almost the same suction as the one I had to replace after I accidentally melted it. As other complained about it was slightly folded so I had to bend it back into shape. And it was a strong hold for two of three bulbs I had to remove.I replaced the halogen bulbs with leds so I don’t think this little gadget will get used again, as it seems to only work on glass bulbs.

While cleaning my Wolf vent hood, one of the lights fell out and onto the floor. No biggie, we'll just put in a new one. After 20 minutes of my husband trying to squeeze his man fingers into the small space to install the new light, I graciously offered to do it instead. Within five minutes of torquing my fingers, my body, my mind to somehow put this tiny light into a tiny angled space I was ready to a. smash the vent hood b. smash the light bulb c. smash my fingers. Instead, I stepped away - hot and sweaty and irritated and announced to no one in particular "there is clearly a design flaw". And left the house to take a moment. Undeterred, my husband ordered this little gadget. When he saw it, small and unassuming and plastic looking, he asked "what are the odds this will work?" Five seconds later - he announced it was done. Light was in, light was on, and our little suction cup gadget went into the drawer for next time.

Not what expected from the picture. This product should sell for .99Cents probably cost 6 cents to make. Gave it a 3 rating because it actually worked but a complete ripoff on price and how it appears in picture. Item is about 1.5 inch cup with 1.5 inch handle

This is a great little tool for changing mini spots like a GU10 bulb. I used this in my home to replace approximately 70 bulbs. Some of these were quite difficult to remove since some had become frozen in the fixture. On these bulbs you need to have a little patience and keep jiggling the bulbs with the tool. It also helps to tap the bulb around the circumference with a object such as the end of a metal butterknife to loosen it up if it wont move with the tool. If you need to do this tap gently so as not to break the bulb and then continue to use the bulb changer. This tool also great great for inserting bulbs. This little tool saved me a lot of time and aggravation.

I had high hopes for this thing since I have a bunch of GU10 track lighting in my kitchen and upstairs and need a good solution to remove/replace bulbs. This thing had ZERO suction when I placed it on the bulb. It had some suction when I tested on my wood cabinet - but bulb - not so much. Waste of money!

Indispensable

Surprisingly small and useless.

J'ai utilisé cet outil pour changer une lampe de ma hotte de cuisinière. Comme la lampe en question n'était pas parfaitement plate, l'outil était inutile . Par contre, la nouvelle lampe étant plate , elle tient très bien sur l'outil et se manipule très bien. Par contre ,si la lampe est tant soit peu difficile a positionner, l'outil glissera sur la vitre au lieu de barrer la lampe dans sa base.

First, the suction cup was tiny, barley fit in my hand! Second, it was too small to even fit on a night light! no Suction, and absolutely no leverage! It went right into the garbage! What a waste of money!!
