When the shoes came I was absolutely delighted that I ordered my size because they fit so ...
I wear an 8 1/2 shoe and hunted everywhere to try and find slippers that were in 1/2 sizes and luckily came upon this brand. After reading all the reviews stating opposite opinions on whether or not you should buy your shoe size or get a 1/2 size up, I decided to get my regular shoe size. When the shoes came I was absolutely delighted that I ordered my size because they fit so perfectly. Everything about these slippers are outstanding. When I put my feet in them the first time I couldn't believe how good, real good slippers could feel. The lining, the padding, the support are terrific and THEY DO NOT SLIP AT ALL, perfect for people who may have a problem with mobility. ALso, you can adjust the velcro strap if needed in case your feet might swell some. I have previously bought $30.00 slippers and there is absolutely no comparison when it comes to quality or comfort. Cheap slippers feel good for a few days but will stretch out and the padding goes bad so I will never settle for anything less than this slipper. I also must say that I have no particular foot problems that needed to be considered for this purchase. I convinced my husband that these slippers were really great and he wears a 1/2 size also. When he tried them on the first time it was a perfect fit. He was glad that I convinced him to try a pair because he couldn't believe how comfortable they are. They feel like a real good shoe that you don't mind wearing all day. Never again cheap slippers.

Invest in what you EXPECT!
Iโm a 24 hour caregiver and spend 99% of my time IN-home caregiving. SO Iโm in slippers all day!! Originally purchased Cozylook slippers due to WHAT I THOUGHT was decent quality at a great priceโฆ after wearing all day, my feet felt like i was barefoot. My feet, legs, hips and low back started to ache. Submitted return and refund of the Cozylook slippers and decided to INVEST In QUALITY slippers!! YES IT COST WAY WAY MORE, but just 1 day in these ORTHOFEET SLIPPERS, what a drastic change. They can be worn outdoors as well, however, I do not track outside germs in my home so they are simply for inside. Comfort, warm, arch support and pretty darn cute. Feet, legs, hips and low back better already! Highly recommend!

Very comfortable but still fell short for me
They say this slipper is the "gold standard" of trip avoidance safety (what I was looking for), but it's still not 100%. It has no heel; without a good-fitting heel you do not have complete support. The goodies they include to help customize the fit to your foot are pretty helpful. And at the same time, adding the arch adjustment raises your foot a tiny bit higher which, again, moves your foot a little higher at the heel. So, seems like a trade off to me.So, ultimately, I was disappointed -- I don't think there is an actual SLIPPER that gives good foot support. I'm a senior and I have to carry my laundry up and down stairs, so I didn't get much help on that front. I'm now sensing that only appropriate and snug fitting shoes will do that.

100x WORTH YOUR $
These were my first pair of Orthofeet brand footwear. I purchased them in May of 2020. It is September 2022 now and they have finally worn out.I have plantar faschitis and it was at its worst when I purchased these. My condition has improved through other methods but I don't think it would have improved as well as it has without these slippers to wear around the house. I wear them everyday all year round. I cannot yet go long without wearing a shoe of some kind, my barefoot days are overIf I'm not wearing actual shoes, I'm wearing these. And I mean that. Inside the house as normal house shoes but also outside to tend to my duck or walk out to the mailbox and even a bit of yard work once or twice. The only con about these shoes I have is that they can get a little toasty on the toes. This past summer here in Texas was really too hot for these, but I still wore them. And because of toe sweat they require washing. I was leery about washing these at first but I took the inserts/inner soles out and just chucked them in with my jeans in the washer. The fuzzy insert I washed on gentle cycle with my delicates. I would caution any reader of this review to AIR DRY them. This last time I washed them I chucked everything in the dryer and the inserts shrunk and warped a bit from the heat. The fit of these slippers is what you would expect. But only with socks on. If worn barefoot the toe box is loose enough I have to grip with my toes a bit to keep it on. Width is perfect and is adjustable. The arch support is the best there is honestly. I've tried every shoe insert for plantar faschitis and these exceed them all as is (though I used both of the cushion inserts that they come with).I am on here now to purchase my 2nd pair and I hope that they are just as fabulous as the last!UPDATE: Dec 2024, purchased 3rd pair! They apparently last me about 2 years of constant wear. The main reason I replace them is that the padding inside flattens out over time and the lining gets rubbed super thin in places. The pictures are of my worn-out 2nd pair (on the left) and my Shiney new 3rd pair (on the right). The old ones are kinda blue tinted because when I wash them I just chuck them in the wash with my jeans. They wash up great!

Stretch Once Warn
I have used the slippers for roughly 3 months I believe, and have noticed that the support in the footing or the sole of the shoe is lacking after some time and the width of the shoe has widened. I have plantar fasciitis and ordered these specifically to support my feet when Iโm at home. Initially they were perfect; however, overtime they have lost their structure and the support is not as sufficient. Initially my feet were comforted warm and supported, but now Iโm finding that my feet hurt after wearing them for a period of time because of the lack of support because the shoe was worn. The warmth of the shoe is perfect ideal for the winter months. They endured the winter time and were cozy however, I am at the point where Iโm having to get rid of them and find another type of slipper that is more supportive.

Great for people with narrow feet
I have purchased a lot of slippers but these are by far the best I have found. I have narrow feet so being able to Velcro them tighter as they stretch helps out a lot.

Pretty good if you have feet problems
They are pretty comfortable, I have an Achilles heel issue and the have not aggravated the Achilles at all.
